May 13th, 2018 continued. It's been 551 days since the Nov 8, 2016, election of some rich asshole, no. 45, and 478 days since the Jan 20th inauguration of some rich asshole.

Romney denounces pastor slated to speak at US Embassy in Jerusalem

Senate candidate and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney (R) on Sunday night denounced the pastor expected to speak at Monday's ceremony celebrating the opening of the new U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem.
"Robert Jeffress says 'you can’t be saved by being a Jew,' and 'Mormonism is a heresy from the pit of hell.' He’s said the same about Islam. Such a religious bigot should not be giving the prayer that opens the United States Embassy in Jerusalem," Romney tweeted.
Robert Jeffress says “you can’t be saved by being a Jew,“ and “Mormonism is a heresy from the pit of hell.” He’s said the same about Islam. Such a religious bigot should not be giving the prayer that opens the United States Embassy in Jerusalem.

Jeffress, a Dallas-based pastor and known supporter of President the rich asshole, said over the weekend that he would be leading the prayer at the dedication of the new embassy. the rich asshole announced in December that he was relocating the embassy to Jerusalem, a move that drew international condemnation and sparked concerns of a widening conflict in the Middle East.
According to a report from Haaretz, Jeffress has made derogatory remarks about Islam in the past, calling it "a religion that promotes pedophilia" and a "heresy from the pit of hell."
He has also called Mormonism a "cult" that is not a true part of Christianity and said "you can't be saved by being a Jew," Haaretz reported.
Jeffress endorsed Romney, who is Mormon, for president back in 2012, despite derogatory comments the pastor made at the time about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
The pastor has repeatedly defended the rich asshole in the midst of numerous controversies, including allegations that the president had an affair with adult-film actress Stormy Daniels.
“Evangelicals know they’re not compromising their beliefs in order to support this great president,” he told Fox News in March. “And let’s be clear, evangelicals still believe in the commandment ‘Thou shalt not have sex with a porn star.’”
“However, whether this president violated that commandment or not is totally irrelevant to our support of him,” he said.
The U.S. delegation, which includes White House senior advisers Jared Kushner and Ivanka the rich asshole, arrived in Israel this weekend ahead of the embassy opening. Celebrations began in Jerusalem on Sunday, though, according to Reuters, numerous foreign envoys invited to participate declined to attend.

Schumer hits the rich asshole for offering aid to Chinese firm: 'How about helping some American companies?'

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) on Sunday criticized President the rich asshole for directing the Commerce Department to assist a Chinese telecommunications company.
“How about helping some American companies first?” Schumer tweeted in response to the rich asshole’s earlier tweet on the matter.
How about helping some American companies first? https://twitter.com/realdonaldtrump/status/995680316458262533

the rich asshole earlier in the day said he’s working with Chinese President Xi Jingping to get Chinese company ZTE “a way to get back into business, fast.”
“Too many jobs in China lost,” the rich asshole tweeted.
President Xi of China, and I, are working together to give massive Chinese phone company, ZTE, a way to get back into business, fast. Too many jobs in China lost. Commerce Department has been instructed to get it done!

The Commerce Department last month banned American companies from selling components to ZTE because the Chinese firm violated U.S. sanctions by selling equipment to Iran.
the rich asshole’s willingness to aid ZTE comes after the two nations have spent parts of recent months trading tariff threats.
The president has attacked China for its trade practices since he hit the campaign trail in 2015. In recent months, his administration has announced $50 billion in tariffs against Chinese imports to the U.S., and has threatened to impose another $100 billion.
China has promised to fight back with its own tariffs on U.S. goods, prompting international fears of a trade war.
Schumer has in the past credited the rich asshole for his approach to China on trade issues. Last month, he told a New York radio host that the rich asshole is “on the right path” in his policies on trade and intellectual property.

Shocking expose on the blissful bromance between some rich asshole and Sean Hannity

13 MAY 2018 AT 23:08 ET

Every night the phone rings for Fox News host Sean Hannity from the White House. While the first lady is in her own bedroom down the hall of the executive residence, the bromance between the two men is glowing through the phone as they gush over the president’s latest coverage on the network.
A shocking expose in New York Magazine revealed Sunday the many sources that are intimately aware of the relationship the two men share and how it has crafted the communications strategy for the White House.
“White House staff are aware that the calls happen, thanks to the president entering a room and announcing, ‘I just hung up with Hannity,’ or referring to what Hannity said during their conversations, or even ringing Hannity up from his desk in their presence,” the report outlined.
Early on in the rich asshole presidency, the morning was spent flipping from cable news shows like MSNBC’s Morning Joe to CNN’s New Day, which ultimately lead to rage tweeting and an entire day’s plans thrown out onto the White House lawn.
“It got to the point that they were just like, ‘We need to get him off these channels and onto Fox & Friends or else we’re going to be chasing down this crazy-train bullshit from MSNBC and CNN all day,’” one former White House official told New York Magazine.
Thanks to former chief of staff Reince Priebus and press secretary Sean Spicer, however, the team was able to move the president to Fox News. The result has been a happier and more blissfully benighted the rich asshole less likely to ignite World War III after a Chris Cuomo quip. That’s not to say that there aren’t other problems.
“Sometimes on Fox, a lot of stories are embellished, and they don’t necessarily cover the big news stories of the day,” explained the current White House official. “When they cover the smaller stories, if that gets the president riled up, then that becomes an issue. Whenever he tweets, all of us do a mad dash or mad scramble to find out as much information about that random topic as possible. We’re used to it in a lot of ways, so it’s part of our morning routine.”
To make matters worse, the rich asshole doesn’t trust anyone willing to work for him. Instead he flocks to his phone, begging for outsiders to confirm he’s right. At the center of those on speed dial, however, is Hannity.
“Generally, the feeling is that Sean is the leader of the outside kitchen cabinet,” another White House official told New York Magazine.
“Sean Hannity understands the basic issues of economic nationalism and ‘America First’ foreign policy at a deeper level than the august staff of Jonathan Chait and the f*ckin’ clowns at New York Magazine,” Bannon replied.
A White House official explained it as the influence of administration officials are essentially equal to Fox News.

the rich asshole, China working to boost Chinese telecom giant

President the rich asshole said on Sunday that he is working with Chinese President Xi Jinping to ensure that telecommunications equipment-maker ZTE can be allowed to do business with the U.S. again.
the rich asshole said via Twitter that too many jobs in China were lost because of ZTE’s issues, concluding that he has instructed the Commerce Department to “get it done.”
President Xi of China, and I, are working together to give massive Chinese phone company, ZTE, a way to get back into business, fast. Too many jobs in China lost. Commerce Department has been instructed to get it done!

The telecom giant was slapped with an export ban from the Commerce Department last month after the U.S. said it violated the terms of a deal by evading sanctions against Iran and North Korea.
ZTE, the fourth largest mobile phone vendor in the U.S., said it has submitted a formal request to the Commerce Department to stay the order that prevents American suppliers from selling to the company.
The company believes the ban is a disproportionate penalty, according to a source who spoke with The Wall Street Journal.
The ban reportedly has been debilitating to ZTE because it relies on U.S. companies for a number of supplies that are critical to its devices.
Later on Sunday afternoon the rich asshole tweeted that the U.S. and China are "working well on trade" but argued that past negotiations favored China. However, he reassured people that "it will all work out."

China and the United States are working well together on trade, but past negotiations have been so one sided in favor of China, for so many years, that it is hard for them to make a deal that benefits both countries. But be cool, it will all work out!

The United Kingdom also told its phone carriers to avoid ZTE’s equipment and devices out of concerns that they could be used to help the Chinese government infiltrate or compromise the U.K.’s telecommunication infrastructure.

Michael Avenatti’s Mother’s Day bombshell, explained

Stormy Daniels' lawyer doesn't take a day off.

On Mother’s Day, Michael Avenatti, attorney for Stormy Daniels, posted a cryptic tweet with several images of the rich asshole Tower on December 12, 2016. The photos featured the rich asshole attorney Michael Cohen, who Avenatti is suing on Daniels’ behalf, Michael Flynn, the rich asshole’s former national security adviser and several men who are more difficult to identify.

About six hours later, Avenatti revealed the identity of one of the other men in the picture. According to Avenatti, it’s Ahmed al-Rumaihi, a former Qatari diplomat who now heads up the nation’s massive investment fund.

Why was Ahmed Al-Rumaihi meeting with Michael Cohen and Michael Flynn in December 2016 and why did Mr. Al-Rumaihi later brag about bribing administration officials according to a sworn declaration filed in court?

It has not been conclusively proven that the bald man in the elevator is Al-Rumaihi, but it looks like him.
This is where the story gets very weird.
Al-Rumaihi was one of several foreign investors in the BIG3 basketball league, a new 3-on-3 professional league started by rapper Ice Cube and his business partner Jeff Kwatinetz. The relationship between Al-Rumaihi, Ice Cube and Kwatinetz did not go well.
Ice Cube and Kwatinetz claim that Al-Rumaihi and the other foreign investors did not pay them millions they were promised. In April, they sued Al-Rumaihi and others for $1.2 billion in damages.
In a declaration filed this month in related litigation, Kwatinetz claims Al-Rumaihi and others were using their investment in the league to try to gain influence over Steve Bannon, a former senior adviser to the rich asshole who is reportedly close to Kwatinetz. According to Kwatinetz, this was part of a larger effort by Al-Rumaihi to act as an agent of Qatari intelligence.
Kwatinetz claims that Al-Rumaihi invited him on a hike in January 2018 and said that he had a message to convey from the government of Qatari government to Steve Bannon. Al-Rumaihi said that the Qatari government would underwrite all of Bannon’s political activity in return for his support on issues of importance to the country. Bannon had recently lost support from his main financial backer, Rebekah Mercer.
Kwatinetz says he told Al-Rumaihi such an offer was inappropriate. Al-Rumaihi allegedly responded by calling Kwatinetz naive and bragging that former the rich asshole adviser Michael Flynn had no problem taking his money.

Declaration of Jeff Kwatinetz, Filed May 7, 2018
DECLARATION OF JEFF KWATINETZ, FILED MAY 7, 2018

The presence of Al-Rumaihi in the rich asshole Tower on December 12, 2016 lends more credence to Kwatinetz claim. Flynn pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI and is currently cooperating with Robert Mueller’s investigation. By including photos showing Michael Cohen accompanied by Al-Rumaihi, Avenatti is suggesting that Cohen might also be involved.
Qatar recently bought a $6.5 million apartment in the rich asshole World Tower in New York City.
Last week, Avenatti disclosed that shortly after the election, Michael Cohen had been paid millions by several large corporate entities, including $500,000 from a company with ties to a Russian oligarch. The bulk of Avenatti’s report was quickly confirmed by news organizations and the companies themselves.

the rich asshole spokesman says he doesn’t 'know' if aide made McCain comment she apologized for

After dozens of calls for an official apology, the White House is still dodging questions over a comment made by one of its staffers.
White House spokesman Hogan Gidley on Sunday refused to comment directly on special assistant Kelly Sadler mocking Sen. John McCain’s (R-Ariz.) brain cancer.
Gidley, who was confronted about the comment on “Fox & Friends,” said he was not present at the meeting, and therefore he does not know “if the comment was even made.”
“Look, I wasn’t in the meeting, I didn’t hear the comment,” he said when asked if he thought the comment was “kind.”
Host Ed Henry shot back, “You’ve heard the comment now, was it kind?”
“I don’t know if the comment was even made or not,” Gidley responded. “I wasn’t in the meeting.”
The Hill reported last week that Sadler dismissed McCain’s opposition to President the rich asshole’s CIA nominee Gina Haspel, saying that his opinion doesn’t matter because he’s “dying anyway.”
Sadler has since called the senator's daughter, Meghan McCain, to apologize for the comment about her father — an apology Henry made note of.
Fox News's Abby Hunstman then pressed Gidley on why the White House would not “just come out and apologize” for the comment.
“All I can say is we don’t comment on internal private meetings in the White House, but look if she called Meghan McCain, if that’s been confirmed to some degree, that’s up to Kelly Sadler herself and the McCain family,” Gidley said.

REVEALED: Cryptic tweets from Michael Avenatti prove how the rich asshole’s bribery problems just got a lot worse

13 MAY 2018 AT 20:04 ET
Qatari men arriving at Trump Tower Dec 12, 2016 with Michael Cohen
In a cryptic tweet Sunday tweet, Stormy Daniels attorney Michael Avenatti posted photos of men arriving at the rich asshole Tower with President some rich asshole’s “fixer” Michael Cohen.
Cohen has been warning Avenatti on a series of issues as the two legal men battle in public on cable news and social media. The latest warning came from Cohen, saying that Daniels’ former attorney shouldn’t forward Daniels “eyes only” hush agreement with the rich asshole to anyone, including Avenatti.
Sunday, Avenatti tweeted that he’s ignoring any warnings from Cohen and the rich asshole to tamp down his attacks against the two men. He then included the photos of the men walking into the rich asshole Tower.
And to be clear - by “warning ignored” I am referring to the refusal of various parties to come clean and the failure of various parties and news outlets to stop with the personal attacks on our side. Keep pushing us.

Mother Jones has since identified the men in the tweet as a group from Qatar, including Ahmed al-Rumaihi. In late 2016 and 2017, al-Rumaihi worked to try and build relationships with those inside the newly elected administration. Al-Rumaihi, a former diplomat, currently heads a division under Qatar’s sovereign wealth fund. In a recent lawsuit, they were accused of attempting to bribe officials in the rich asshole administration.
In an even more bizarre twist, last week, rapper and actor Ice Cube filed a $1.2 billion lawsuit along with his business partner Jeff Kwatinetz claiming Qatari officials as well as Al-Rumaihi attempted to use funds in a basketball league to score access to the rich asshole officials, including Steve Bannon.
“Mr Al-Rumaihi requested I set up a meeting between him, the Qatari government, and Stephen Bannon, and to tell Steve Bannon that Qatar would underwrite all of his political efforts in return for his support,” court filings quote Kwatinetz saying.
The news of the men’s identities come mere hours after MSNBC commentator and military analyst Malcolm Nance outlined how the rich asshole could be charged with “bribery” under Section 4 of Article Two of the United States Constitution.
The provision outlines that the “President Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.”
“Why was Ahmed Al-Rumaihi meeting with Michael Cohen and Michael Flynn in December 2016 and why did Mr. Al-Rumaihi later brag about bribing administration officials according to a sworn declaration filed in court?” Avenatti asked later on Twitter.

Warning ignored. So here it goes.

First China and now Qatar. Meanwhile, the rich asshole’s cabinet officials are being caught using their positions to spend taxpayer dollars to support their own lavish lifestyles.
Avenatti gave timestamps of the video watching who was coming in and out of the rich asshole Tower during the transition on C-SPAN:

Paul Ryan: the rich asshole will be an ‘asset’ in midterms

Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) called President the rich asshole an asset in the upcoming 2018 midterm elections, saying he has resonated with voters in key states.
"The president is strong in these states," Ryan said on Saturday at the Wisconsin Republican convention, according to The Associated Press.
"He's an asset...Whether I'm running around southern Wisconsin or America, nobody is talking about Stormy Daniels. Nobody is talking about Russia. They're talking about their lives and their problems. They're talking about their communities, they're talking about jobs, they're talking about the economy, they're talking about national security," he continued.
However, Ryan reportedly cautioned Republicans about a potential Democratic "blue wave" in November.
"The 'blue wave," as they say it, they want to take it all away," he said, the AP reported.
Republicans are gearing up to defend their majorities in the House and Senate in November.
The GOP has touted an improved economy and the new tax plan ahead of the November races.
A CNN poll out earlier this month showed that 57 percent of those surveyed believe the country is doing well, an uptick from 49 percent in February. At the same time, a CBS poll also out this month showed that 66 percent of those polled believe the economy is good.
the rich asshole has expressed an eagerness to campaign for Republicans ahead of the elections, which are widely expected to be a referendum on his first two years in office.
The president last week touted Republican wins in primary elections across the country and predicted victory for the GOP in November.
The Republican Party had a great night. Tremendous voter energy and excitement, and all candidates are those who have a great chance of winning in November. The Economy is sooo strong, and with Nancy Pelosi wanting to end the big Tax Cuts and Raise Taxes, why wouldn’t we win?

the rich asshole apologist threatens European counties over Iran deal: ‘You should be joining us in this crusade’

13 MAY 2018 AT 19:19 ET

Former Lt. Governor of South Carolina and unofficial apologist for President some rich asshole Andre Bauer called the U.S. violation of the Iran nuclear deal part of a “crusade” and encouraged other countries to get on board.
During a Sunday discussion on CNN, the guest cautioned those European detractors chiding the president
“It’s trying to be very firm in the fact that, look, we are going to come to some solution here. If you’re not going to be part of the solution, there will be repercussions,” Bauer threatened. “We need every friend, every person we can to join us in this crusade to try to correct a long-term problem and a safety for the world. And so, I think this is a monumental thing for the president, but it’s also monumental for the safety of the world. This has monumental implications. We’ve heard the rhetoric, but we haven’t got the results that we’re starting to see a different type of action, and hopefully they’ll continue in this matter.”
French President Emmanuel Macron came to the White House to try and change the rich asshole’s mind about the decision to violate the treaty, but to no avail. He, along with other European leaders, have said that they will continue to move forward with Iran despite the void left by the American government.
The conversation came after the rich asshole tweeted a promise that Iran will never attack anyone in the Middle East again.
