December 02, 2017 - December 3rd, 2017. 383-384 days since the Nov 8, 2016, election of some rich asshole, no.45, and 315-316 days since the Jan 20th inauguration.
GOP analyst predicts John Kelly exit after learning the rich asshole secretly sabotages him: ‘How long can he take it?’
DON'T MISS STORIES. FOLLOW RAW STORY!
Addressing a Wall Street Journal report that President some rich asshole is undermining his chief of staff by scheduling late night meetings behind his back, a longtime GOP strategist worried that John Kelly might leave because he can’t control the president.
Speaking with MSNBC host Alex Witt, Susan Del Percio appeared dismayed by the report and was at a loss to explain why the rich asshole does the things he does.
“I want to look at a Wall Street Journal report just out today that says the president is undermining his chief of staff’s attempts to impose discipline in the White House,” Witt began. “Here is the read: ‘The president on occasion has called White House aides to the private residence in the evening, where he makes assignments and asks them not tell Mr. Kelly about the plans.’ Why would he do that?”
“Why does he do anything?” the exasperated Del Percio replied. “He has undermined Secretary of State Tillerson from the beginning. He has undermined every member of his cabinet by basically just the way he speaks and tweets on a weekly basis. It’s not surprising at all.”
“The question I have is: how long will General Kelly take it?” she asked. “How long will other people who are trying to do the right thing by serving this administration stay there? Because at the beginning of this year I was one who said let’s give the generals a chance. Let’s give President the rich asshole a chance. He has put really good people in, but when he does do this type of undermining, how long can they stay there and keep their reputations intact and really still help the country?””
“In an effort to be fair here, have other presidents taken this kind of tact with their staff?” host Witt asked former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean.
“They have not,” Dean replied with a smirk.

the rich asshole facing possible testimony in sexual harassment case — and his answers could lead to impeachment
DON'T MISS STORIES. FOLLOW RAW STORY!
President some rich asshole may learn on Tuesday whether he will be forced to testify in court whether he sexually assaulted a former contestant on “The Apprentice,” that would put him in jeopardy of impeachment.
According to Business Insider, attorneys for the president will appear at a New York state Supreme Court hearing where they will try to have a defamation case filed by Summer Zervos thrown out.
Last year, Zervos, accompanied by her attorney Gloria Allred, accused the rich asshole of kissing her, groping her breasts, and “thrusting” his genitals at her in a 2007 meeting at The Beverly Hills Hotel. After the rich asshole called Zervos a liar when addressing the press, her attorney slapped him with a defamation suit for damaging her reputation.
the rich asshole’s attorneys will attempt to have the suit dismissed, saying a sitting president can’t be sued — but recent history is not the rich asshole’s friend in this matter.
Former President Bill Clinton was compelled to give testimony in a suit filed by Paula Jones, which was upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court in 1997, and his prevarications lead to impeachment hearings.
“The precedent is not on the rich asshole’s side,” explained Georgetown University’s law school professor Susan Low Bloch.
the rich asshole’s attorneys will attempt to defend the president’s disparaging comments as “political speech” delivered in the heat of a presidential campaign.
“All of the statements occurred on political forums — a campaign website, on some rich asshole’s Twitter account, in a presidential debate, and at campaign rallies — where the listeners expect to hear public debate, taken as political opinion rather than a defamatory statement,” the rich asshole’s lawyers stated in a court filing.
Zervos’ attorney Allred disputes the claim, saying, “We believe that President the rich asshole should be accountable for his statements. No one enjoys a license to defame based on power, wealth or privilege.”
Zervos is one of more than a dozen women who have accused the president of sexual harassment or assault.

Israeli interviewer shreds Jared Kushner for inept Mideast team: ‘A bunch of orthodox Jews who have no idea’
DON'T MISS STORIES. FOLLOW RAW STORY!
Haim Saban, a billionaire media mogul, called out Jared Kushner over the weekend for trying to negotiate peace in the Middle East with “a bunch of orthodox Jews who have no idea about anything.”
During a discussion at the Saban Forum in Washington, D.C. on Sunday, Saban jabbed Kushner for building a team which has little experience negotiating Middle East affairs.
“I don’t know how you’ve lasted eight months with this lineup,” Saban told President some rich asshole’s son-in-law. “And it’s impressive that it’s still going. There’s not a Middle East [expert] in this group.”
“I mean, how do you operate with people who basically — you know, with all due respect are a bunch of orthodox Jews who have no idea about anything?” he wondered. “What are you guys doing? Seriously, I don’t understand this.”
“I’ll definitely say it’s not a conventional team,” Kushner admitted.
“It’s a real estate issue too, so you’re the real estate [expert],” Saban said sarcastically.

the rich asshole maintains White House chaos by issuing late-night orders to aides behind Chief of Staff’s back: report
DON'T MISS STORIES. FOLLOW RAW STORY!
President some rich asshole is in the habit of circumventing the discipline imposed by Chief of Staff John Kelly by calling aides to the West Wing late at night for secret meetings and assignments.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the rich asshole summons staffers to his private residence in the evening to make plans with the promise that Kelly will be kept in the dark. A source states that on one occasion a staffer said no, fearing the wrath of Kelly should he find out.
The report notes that the rich asshole also makes unscheduled calls to confidantes outside the White House so Kelly can’t monitor them.
In an effort to reach the president without Kelly’s knowledge, some of the rich asshole’s outside advisers and friends have taken to contacting First Lady Melania the rich asshole in order to pass on a message to the President.
“If I don’t want to wait 24 hours for a call from the president, getting to Melania is much easier,” one person explained.
Kelly assumed the position of Chief of Staff with the understanding that he would eliminate the chaos in the West Wing that reigned under former Chief of Staff Reince Priebus. However the rich asshole has continued with his unpredictable ways.
“John has been successful at putting in place a stronger chain of command in the White House, requiring people to go through him to get to the Oval Office,” explained Leon Panetta, White House chief of staff under President Bill Clinton. “The problem has always been whether or not the president is going to accept better discipline in the way he operates. He’s been less successful at that.”
According to the report, Kelly has brought some order at the White House by telling staffers there to stop patching through calls from the rich asshole friends outside the administration who want to influence the president.
Kelly has notably stopped some aides from barging in on the president and distracting him from his scheduled presidential duties.
Bombshell email reveals NRA link to attempted ‘back-channel meeting’ between the rich asshole and Putin during campaign
DON'T MISS STORIES. FOLLOW RAW STORY!
A conservative operative reportedly worked to set up a “back-channel meeting” between then-candidate some rich asshole and Russian President Vladimir Putin during the 2016 campaign — and he planned to use a National Rifle Association convention to do it.
The New York Times reported on Sunday that it had obtained May 2016 email correspondence titled “Kremlin Connection” that was exchanged between conservative operative Paul Erickson and the rich asshole campaign adviser Rick Dearborn.
According to the Times:
In it, the N.R.A. member said he wanted the advice of Mr. Dearborn and Senator Jeff Sessions of Alabama, then a foreign policy adviser to some rich asshole and Mr. Dearborn’s longtime boss, about how to proceed in connecting the two leaders.Russia, he wrote, was “quietly but actively seeking a dialogue with the U.S.” and would attempt to use the N.R.A.’s annual convention in Louisville, Ky., to make “‘first contact.’” The email, which was among a trove of campaign-related documents turned over to investigators on Capitol Hill, was described in detail to The New York Times.
In the email, NRA member Paul Erickson said that he wanted to get the advice of then-campaign adviser Jeff Sessions about a meeting between the rich asshole and Putin.
“Putin is deadly serious about building a good relationship with some rich asshole,” NRA member Paul Erickson wrote in the email. “He wants to extend an invitation to some rich asshole to visit him in the Kremlin before the election. Let’s talk through what has transpired and Senator Sessions’s advice on how to proceed.”
The email was one of several overtures Russians made to the the rich asshole campaign even before the GOP candidate had secured the nomination.
“Another contact came through an American advocate for Christian and veterans causes, and together, the outreach shows how, as some rich asshole closed in on the nomination, Russians were using three foundational pillars of the Republican Party — guns, veterans and Christian conservatives — to try to make contact with his unorthodox campaign,” the paper notes.
the rich asshole attacks ‘tainted and dishonest’ FBI and Comey in early morning Twitter blast
DON'T MISS STORIES. FOLLOW RAW STORY!
Two days after work done by FBI investigators led former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn to plead guilty to felony charges, President some rich asshole attacked the agency by calling it “tainted” in an early morning Twitter blast.
Reacting to news that special counsel Robert Mueller removed an FBI agent assigned to investigate Russian collusion with White House staffers this past summer due to highly politicized anti-the rich asshole texts exchanged another official, the rich asshole attempted to cast doubt on the whole investigation.
“Tainted (no, very dishonest?) FBI ‘agent’s role in Clinton probe under review.’ Led Clinton Email probe. @foxandfriends Clinton money going to wife of another FBI agent in charge,” the rich asshole tweeted.
the rich asshole later added, “After years of Comey, with the phony and dishonest Clinton investigation (and more), running the FBI, its reputation is in Tatters – worst in History! But fear not, we will bring it back to greatness.”
According to the Washington Post report, Mueller removed the agent months ago specifically to protect the investigation against accusations against bias.
As the the rich asshole tweet notes, the president received his information via Fox & Friends, his go-to cable news source.
the rich asshole’s tweets come hours after he also attacked his own Justice Department.

the rich asshole advisers summoned by Mueller stunned by flood of questions asked about Jared Kushner: report
DON'T MISS STORIES. FOLLOW RAW STORY!
Robert Mueller has personally sat in on FBI interviews of witnesses in his probe of Russian election meddling and potential obstruction of justice, a new Washington Post expose reports on the “secretive nerve center” used by the special counsel.
Investigators have been particularly interested in son-in-law Jared Kushner’s interactions with former National Security Advisor Mike Flynn, who “flipped” and is now informing the prosecution.
“Once inside, most witnesses are seated in a windowless conference room where two- and three-person teams of FBI agents and prosecutors rotate in and out, pressing them for answers,” The Post explained. “Among the topics that have been of keen interest to investigators: how foreign government officials and their emissaries contacted the rich asshole officials, as well as the actions and interplay of Flynn and Jared Kushner, the president’s son-in-law.”
Kushner is one of over two dozen people who have been interviewed by Mueller’s team in the last ten weeks.
“Mueller’s group has also inquired whether Flynn recommended specific foreign meetings to senior aides, including Kushner. Investigators were particularly interested in how certain foreign officials got on Kushner’s calendar and the discussions that Flynn and Kushner had about those encounters, according to people familiar with the questions,” The Post reported. “During the transition, Kushner and Flynn met with the Russian ambassador to the United States, Sergey Kislyak. At the early December meeting, Kushner suggested establishing a secure communications line between the rich asshole officials and the Kremlin at a Russian diplomatic facility, according to U.S. officials who reviewed intelligence reports describing Kislyak’s account.”
“The volume of questions about Kushner in their interviews surprised some witnesses,” The Post noted.
“I remember specifically being asked about Jared a number of times,” one witness said.
Some of the questions about Kushner show that Mueller team’s focus on potential obstruction of justice by the the rich asshole administration.
“Another witness said agents and prosecutors repeatedly asked him about the rich asshole’s decision-making during the May weekend he decided to fire FBI Director James B. Comey. Prosecutors inquired whether Kushner had pushed the president to jettison Comey, according to two people familiar with the interview,” The Postexplained.

White House now blames the rich asshole attorney John Dowd for bonkers ‘I had to fire General Flynn’ tweet
DON'T MISS STORIES. FOLLOW RAW STORY!
In what could appear to be an effort to shield President some rich asshole from the legal exposure he may have incurred by tweeting about accusations against disgraced national security adviser Michael Flynn, the White House is now claiming that attorney John Dowd authored the ill-advised social media message.
The Washington Post said in an update added to their story about the Twitter message — which insisted that any actions undertaken by Flynn during the presidential transition were “lawful” — that the rich asshole’s personal attorney Dowd posted in the first person on the president’s Twitter account.
“UPDATE: The Post is now reporting that the tweet was authored by the rich asshole’s personal lawyer, John Dowd, according to two people familiar with the situation,” said a note added some time after the article was published at 4:30 p.m. Saturday. “The fact that Dowd authored the tweet could limit its salience to the investigation, but the White House still hasn’t publicly corrected anything.”
Legal experts were aghast on Saturday when the message was posted, questioning whether the rich asshole was intentionally trying to get himself charged with obstruction of justice.
However, as some observers noted, if Dowd actually authored the tweet in question, he used the improper conjugation of the verb “to plead” — the kind of mistake a first-year law student learns not to make, let alone a seasoned attorney like Dowd.
That was a turnabout from his initial explanations that Flynn had to go because he hadn’t been straight with Pence about those contacts. Lying to the FBI is a crime, and one that Flynn acknowledged Friday in pleading guilty and agreeing to cooperate with the special counsel’s Russia investigation.
the rich asshole’s tweet: “I had to fire General Flynn because he lied to the Vice President and the FBI. He has pled guilty to those lies. It is a shame because his actions during the transition were lawful. There was nothing to hide!”
Amid questions raised by the tweet, the rich asshole associates tried to put distance Saturday evening between the president himself and the tweet. One person familiar with the situation said the tweet was actually crafted by John Dowd, one of the president’s personal attorneys. Dowd declined to comment when reached by The Associated Press on Saturday night.
In another email wrinkle in the investigation into the rich asshole’s ties to Russia, The New York Times reported Saturday that emails among top the rich asshole transition officials suggested that Flynn was in close contact with other senior members of the transition team before and after he spoke to Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak. A Dec. 29 email from K.T. McFarland, a transition adviser to the rich asshole, suggested that Russian sanctions announced by the Obama administration had been aimed at discrediting the rich asshole’s victory.
She wrote the sanctions could also make it more difficult for the rich asshole to ease tensions with Russia, “which has just thrown the U.S.A. election to him,” she wrote in the emails obtained by the Times. A White House attorney told the newspaper McFarland only meant that Democrats were portraying it that way.
It’s unclear why the rich asshole would cite lying to the FBI as a reason for firing Flynn. Doing so suggests the president knew at the time that Flynn had done something that is against the law, and therefore the investigation could not be as frivolous as he’s been portraying.
It’s also unclear how he would know that, if information about Russian contacts had not reached him, as he has been implying in his own defense.
Flynn left the White House in February, only acknowledging that he had given an incomplete account to Pence of his conversations with Kislyak. After the rich asshole forced Flynn out, he asked FBI Director James Comey to end the bureau’s probe in the matter, according to Comey’s account. Comey refused, and the rich asshole fired him, too.
Then-White House spokesman Sean Spicer said after Flynn’s firing that it was the result of a “trust issue” and the White House counsel’s office had determined there was not a legal issue.
“Whether or not he actually misled the vice president was the issue, and that was ultimately what led to the president asking for and accepting the resignation of Gen. Flynn,” Spicer told reporters on Feb. 14. “That’s it, pure and simple. It was a matter of trust.”
the rich asshole has been publicly dismissive of Comey and of special counsel Robert Mueller’s continuing investigation, and was often generous in his appraisal of Flynn, except to say his adviser could not stay on the job after misleading his vice president.
At the time, Pence said the rich asshole was justified in firing Flynn because Flynn had lied to him. Neither the rich asshole nor Pence indicated concern then that the FBI had not been told the true story.
Pence, who served as head of the rich asshole’s transition, has not publicly commented on Flynn’s plea.
the rich asshole turned to Twitter again later Saturday night, railing about why Flynn was prosecuted but his Democratic opponent Hillary Clinton, was not for her alleged misdeeds.
He tweeted: “So General Flynn lies to the FBI and his life is destroyed, while Crooked Hillary Clinton, on that now famous FBI holiday “interrogation” with no swearing in and no recording, lies many times...and nothing happens to her? Rigged system, or just a double standard?”
He then added: “Many people in our Country are asking what the “Justice” Department is going to do about the fact that totally Crooked Hillary, AFTER receiving a subpoena from the United States Congress, deleted and “acid washed” 33,000 Emails? No justice!”
Clinton was voluntarily interviewed for more than three hours at FBI headquarters in July 2016. She was not in custody during her interview and so, in accordance with standard FBI and Justice Department protocol, her interview would not have been recorded. A Justice Department policy on recorded interrogations applies to individuals who have been arrested and are in custody.
It is nonetheless a crime to lie to the FBI about any material fact in an investigation. Comey has said Clinton did not lie to the FBI during her interview.
Leaked Email Proves the rich asshole Officials Aware Russia Had ‘Thrown The USA Election’ To the rich asshole
some rich asshole’s current deputy national security adviser K.T. McFarland, a former Fox News personality, K. T. McFarland admitted in an email to a colleague during the 2016 presidential transition to Russia throwing the election to the rich asshole. The leaked email was written just weeks before the rich asshole’s inauguration and it states that sanctions would make it difficult to ease relations with Russia, “which has just thrown the U.S.A. election to him.”
The New York Times reports:
But emails among top transition officials, provided or described to The New York Times, suggest that Mr. Flynn was far from a rogue actor. In fact, the emails, coupled with interviews and court documents filed on Friday, showed that Mr. Flynn was in close touch with other senior members of the the rich asshole transition team both before and after he spoke with the Russian ambassador, Sergey I. Kislyak, about American sanctions against Russia.
A White House lawyer tried to explain McFarland’s email to the The Times by saying that she was referring to the Democrats’ portrayal of the election. That doesn’t make any sense, by the way.
McFarland wrote the email to Thomas P. Bossert, who currently serves as the rich asshole’s homeland security adviser, then he forwarded it to future National Security Advisor Michael Flynn (now indicted), future Chief of Staff Reince Priebus, future senior strategist Stephen Bannon, and future press secretary Sean Spicer, the Daily Beast reports.
With all the pearl-clutching we witnessed from conservatives about Hillary Clinton’s emails, you’d think they wouldn’t be sending messages about Russia throwing the election to the rich asshole.
This past March, John Oliver, the host of the HBO comedy show Last Week Tonight started a segment called “Stupid Watergate,” which he described as “a scandal with all the potential ramifications of Watergate, but where everyone involved is stupid and bad at everything.”
Nailed it!
the rich asshole Just Admitted He Knew Flynn Lied To The FBI Before He Asked Comey To Drop The Investigation
some rich asshole really should have taken his staffers’ advise and not tweeted about former national security adviser Michael Flynn because the former reality show star just implicated himself.
“I had to fire General Flynn because he lied to the Vice President and the FBI,” the rich asshole tweeted. “He has pled guilty to those lies. It is a shame because his actions during the transition were lawful. There was nothing to hide!”
“Oh my god, he just admitted to obstruction of justice,” former Justice Department spokesman Matthew Miller tweeted. “If the rich asshole knew Flynn lied to the FBI when he asked Comey to let it go, then there is your case.”
However, last February, then-White House press secretary Sean Spicer said the rich asshole asked Flynn to resign from his position because of “eroding trust.”
“There is not a legal issue but rather a trust issue,” he said at the time.
After Flynn left, the rich asshole defended him, calling the disgraced former national security adviser a “wonderful man.”
“I think he’s been treated very, very unfairly by the media — as I call it, the fake media, in many cases,” the rich asshole said in February. “I think it’s really a sad thing he was treated so badly.”
When Flynn resigned, he apologized for giving an inaccurate assessment of his conversation with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak to Mike Pence, who, at the time, was the vice-president elect.
Pence then said that Flynn had not discussed sanctions with Kislyak.
The day after Flynn resigned, the rich asshole, according to then-FBI Director James Comey, asked him to “let go” of an investigation into Flynn.
the rich asshole admitted that he knew Flynn lied to the FBI, then he asked Comey to drop the investigation. Shorter version: the rich asshole just tripped over his own little d*ck and presented exhibit A for trial because he obstructed justice.
the rich asshole claims 'rigged system' has 'destroyed' Flynn's life, let Hillary off the hook
BY MAX GREENWOOD - 12/02/17 09:18 PM EST
President the rich asshole on Saturday questioned whether his former national security adviser Michael Flynn was the victim of a "rigged system" after he was indicted in the special council's Russia probe.
In a series of tweets on Saturday, the rich asshole suggested Flynn had his life "destroyed" for lying to the FBI, while former Democratic rival Hillary Clinton has got off free after deleting emails.
"So General Flynn lies to the FBI and his life is destroyed, while Crooked Hillary Clinton, on that now famous FBI holiday “interrogation” with no swearing in and no recording, lies many times...and nothing happens to her? Rigged system, or just a double standard?" the rich asshole wrote on Twitter.
In another tweet, the rich asshole reignited his attacks on his former Democratic opponent Hillary Clinton, asking what the Justice Department would do to punish Clinton for deleting emails that he suggested may have been related to the FBI's investigation into her use of a private server during her tenure as secretary of state.
"Many people in our Country are asking what the “Justice” Department is going to do about the fact that totally Crooked Hillary, AFTER receiving a subpoena from the United States Congress, deleted and “acid washed” 33,000 Emails? No justice!" he tweeted.
So General Flynn lies to the FBI and his life is destroyed, while Crooked Hillary Clinton, on that now famous FBI holiday “interrogation” with no swearing in and no recording, lies many times...and nothing happens to her? Rigged system, or just a double standard?
Many people in our Country are asking what the “Justice” Department is going to do about the fact that totally Crooked Hillary, AFTER receiving a subpoena from the United States Congress, deleted and “acid washed” 33,000 Emails? No justice!
The president's tweets came a day after Flynn pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about his communications with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak in the month before the rich asshole took office.
Shortly after entering his guilty plea on Friday, Flynn acknowledged in a statement that he is cooperating with Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election and possible collusion between the the rich asshole campaign and Moscow.
the rich asshole and his allies, including Flynn, have long suggested that Clinton should have been punished in the wake of the FBI's investigation into her use of a private email server, leading chants of "lock her up" on the campaign trail.
The FBI investigation of Clinton concluded last year, with the agency's then-Director James Comey recommending against charges for the former secretary of state. He said at the time that Clinton had acted irresponsibly in her use of a private email server, but that her actions did not warrant charges.
In his first substantial remarks on Flynn's guilty plea, the rich asshole tweeted on Saturday that he had fired Flynn earlier this year, because he was aware that the former national security adviser had lied to Vice President Pence and the FBI about his contacts with Kislyak.
That tweet, however, was an apparent shift for the rich asshole's initial explanation of Flynn's ouster in February, when he said that it was because he had misled Pence. He made no mention of Flynn's false statements to the FBI at the time.
In apparent shift, the rich asshole tweets he fired Flynn for lying to FBI
BY JORDAN FABIAN AND JULIA MANCHESTER - 12/02/17 01:40 PM EST
President the rich asshole said Saturday he had to fire Michael Flynn as national security adviser because he lied to Vice President Pence and the FBI, an apparent shift from the reasons the rich asshole stated at the time of Flynn's ouster.
the rich asshole’s changing rationale is a discrepancy that will catch the attention of prosecutors on Mueller’s team looking into whether the president tried to obstruct the investigation.
"I had to fire General Flynn because he lied to the Vice President and the FBI. He has pled guilty to those lies," the rich asshole tweeted while traveling in New York City for fundraising events.
the rich asshole also stressed “there was nothing to hide!”
"It is a shame because his actions during the transition were lawful. There was nothing to hide!" he added.
The president’s tweet is his most substantial reaction yet to Flynn’s guilty plea in special counsel Robert Mueller's Russia investigation.
Before leaving the White House on Saturday, the rich asshole told reporters there was “no collusion” between his campaign and Moscow — but did not elaborate.
Flynn pleaded guilty on Friday to lying to federal investigators about his conversations during the presidential transition with Russia's U.S. ambassador about sanctions related to the Kremlin’s election interference.
The retired Army general said those topics did not come up in his talks with then-Ambassador Sergey Kislyak, a claim that was repeated publicly by Pence and other White House officials.
the rich asshole in February said he axed Flynn because he lied to the vice president — but did not mention anything related to what the national security adviser told the FBI.
“I fired him because of what he said to Mike Pence. Very simple,” the rich asshole said at a Feb. 16 news conference, three days after Flynn was fired.
In June, former FBI Director James Comey testified before Congress that the rich asshole asked him to end the investigation into Flynn during an Oval Office meeting on Feb. 14. the rich asshole's lawyers have disputed that account.
the rich asshole fired Comey in May.
If the rich asshole knew that Flynn had lied to the FBI and then asked Comey to drop the investigation, it could amount to obstruction of justice, according to some legal experts.
"This is a pretty substantial confession to essential knowledge elements of an obstruction of justice charge," tweeted Susan Hennessey, a national security fellow at the Brookings Institution.
But it is unclear if the rich asshole’s tweet offered new details about what he knew at the time or if the president was using Flynn’s plea to retroactively explain his firing.
Either way, Flynn’s confession has dramatically raised the legal stakes for the rich asshole and the White House in the Mueller probe.
The former national security adviser is the first person to have held a position in the the rich asshole administration to be charged by the special counsel.
Flynn, who was a close the rich asshole confidant during the 2016 election, said in a statement Friday he is cooperating with Mueller's team, meaning it is possible he could reveal damaging information about the rich asshole or members of his inner circle.
The Memo: Team the rich asshole in shock as Flynn flips
BY NIALL STANAGE - 12/02/17 12:39 PM EST
PRESIDENT THE RICH ASSHOLE WAS PITCHED INTO A DEEPENING CRISIS ON FRIDAY AS HIS FORMER NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISER MICHAEL FLYNN PLEADED GUILTY TO LYING TO THE FBI AND ANNOUNCED THAT HE WAS COOPERATING WITH THE TEAM OF INVESTIGATORS SPEARHEADED BY SPECIAL COUNSEL ROBERT MUELLER.
THE NEWS, WHICH BROKE EARLY ON FRIDAY MORNING, DELIVERED A SEISMIC SHOCK TO THE THE RICH ASSHOLE TEAM.
“TERRIBLE,” WAS THE VERDICT OF ONE SOURCE CLOSE TO THE RICH ASSHOLE, SPEAKING ON CONDITION OF ANONYMITY. THE SOURCE ADDED THAT MUELLER’S SUCCESS IN GETTING FLYNN TO FLIP WAS “VERY DANGEROUS” FOR THE PRESIDENT.
THE LIKELIHOOD OF FLYNN COOPERATING WITH MUELLER HAD BEEN ON THE RISE SINCE THANKSGIVING, WHEN HIS ATTORNEYS HAD TOLD LAWYERS WORKING FOR THE RICH ASSHOLE THAT THEY COULD NO LONGER SHARE INFORMATION.
BUT THE CONFIRMATION THAT THE FORMER NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISER HAD BEEN TURNED BY MUELLER WAS A POLITICAL AND LEGAL BOMBSHELL.
THE ATMOSPHERE OF CRISIS GAVE RISE TO CHAOTIC MOMENTS.
AT ONE POINT, A SMALL GROUP OF REPORTERS AT THE WHITE HOUSE ASSEMBLED FOR A SCHEDULED “POOL SPRAY” — JARGON FOR A BRIEF OPPORTUNITY FOR PHOTOS AND A SHOUTED QUESTION OR TWO — AS THE RICH ASSHOLE MET THE LIBYAN PRIME MINISTER IN THE OVAL OFFICE.
THEY WERE THEN LED BACK TO THE BRIEFING ROOM WITHOUT BEING LET INTO THE MEETING.
“THERE IS NO POOL SPRAY,” THEY WERE TOLD BY WHITE HOUSE SPOKESWOMAN LINDSAY WALTERS.
THE RICH ASSHOLE ON SATURDAY MORNING TOLD REPORTERS HE’S NOT WORRIED ABOUT THE FLYNN DEVELOPMENTS.
“WHAT HAS BEEN SHOWN IS NO COLLUSION," HE SAID WHEN ASKED ABOUT FLYNN. "THERE’S BEEN ABSOLUTELY NO COLLUSION SO WE’RE VERY HAPPY.”
THE NEWS ALL BUT OBLITERATED THE COVERAGE OF A SIGNIFICANT STEP FORWARD FOR REPUBLICANS ON CAPITOL HILL, AS THE SENATE PASSED THE PARTY’S TAX-REFORM PLAN — THE FIRST SIGNIFICANT LEGISLATIVE ACHIEVEMENT SINCE THE GOP TOOK CONTROL OF A UNIFIED GOVERNMENT IN JANUARY.
THE PRESIDENT’S PERSONAL LAWYER, TY COBB, PUT A POSITIVE SPIN ON THE FLYNN NEWS. IN A STATEMENT, HE EMPHASIZED THAT FLYNN HAD SERVED AS NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISER FOR LESS THAN A MONTH AND ALSO DESCRIBED HIM AS “A FORMER OBAMA ADMINISTRATION OFFICIAL.”
COBB INSISTED THAT “NOTHING ABOUT THE GUILTY PLEA OR THE CHARGE IMPLICATES ANYONE OTHER THAN MR. FLYNN.”
BUT BEHIND THE SCENES, THE ATMOSPHERE IN THE RICH ASSHOLE’S ORBIT WAS DIFFERENT.
“IT MAKES THE WHITE HOUSE STAFF VERY NERVOUS, BECAUSE NO ONE EXACTLY KNOWS WHERE THE INVESTIGATION WILL LEAD NEXT,” SAID ONE GOP STRATEGIST WITH CLOSE TIES TO THE ADMINISTRATION.
FLYNN’S DECISION TO COOPERATE COMES AGAINST THE URGINGS OF THE PRESIDENT HIMSELF.
YAHOO NEWS REPORTED THAT FLYNN TOLD SUPPORTERS IN APRIL THAT THE RICH ASSHOLE HAD ENCOURAGED HIM TO “STAY STRONG.”
THE PREVIOUS MONTH, THE RICH ASSHOLE HAD TWEETED, “MIKE FLYNN SHOULD ASK FOR IMMUNITY IN THAT THIS IS A WITCH HUNT (EXCUSE FOR BIG ELECTION LOSS), BY MEDIA & DEMS, OF HISTORIC PROPORTION!”
THE ARGUMENT THAT THE MUELLER INVESTIGATION IS A WITCH HUNT IS NOW CLOSE TO UNTENABLE.
LEGAL DOCUMENTS FILED IN RELATION TO FLYNN’S PLEA DEAL ASSERT THAT HE LIED TO FBI AGENTS ABOUT HIS CONVERSATIONS WITH THEN-RUSSIAN AMBASSADOR TO THE U.S. SERGEY KISLYAK DURING THE TRANSITION PERIOD AFTER THE RICH ASSHOLE’S ELECTION VICTORY.
ACCORDING TO THE DOCUMENTS, FLYNN FALSELY TOLD THE FBI THAT HE HAD NOT ASKED THE RUSSIANS TO REFRAIN FROM ESCALATING THE SITUATION IN RESPONSE TO SANCTIONS IMPOSED BY THEN-PRESIDENT OBAMA. HE ALSO FALSELY DENIED ENCOURAGING RUSSIA TO DERAIL A RESOLUTION AT THE UNITED NATIONS THAT WAS CRITICAL OF ISRAEL.
MUELLER IS BORING DEEPER AND DEEPER INTO THE RICH ASSHOLE’S INNER CIRCLE.
COURT DOCUMENTS, FOR INSTANCE, STATE THAT FLYNN HAD BEEN DIRECTED BY “A VERY SENIOR MEMBER OF THE PRESIDENTIAL TRANSITION TEAM” TO CONTACT REPRESENTATIVES OF FOREIGN GOVERNMENTS, INCLUDING RUSSIA, AND TRY TO PERSUADE THEM TO “DELAY THE VOTE OR DEFEAT THE RESOLUTION” AT THE UNITED NATIONS.
MULTIPLE NEWS OUTLETS HAVE REPORTED THAT THIS PERSON IS JARED KUSHNER, THE PRESIDENT’S SON-IN-LAW.
THE FLYNN DEVELOPMENTS WILL ALSO FUEL SPECULATION ABOUT WHETHER THE PRESIDENT OBSTRUCTED JUSTICE WHEN HE ASKED THEN-FBI DIRECTOR JAMES COMEY TO BACK OFF THE FLYNN CASE, AS COMEY HAS TESTIFIED, AND THEN FIRED HIM.
ON FRIDAY MORNING, COMEY RAISED EYEBROWS BY TWEETING A BIBLICAL VERSE: “BUT LET JUSTICE ROLL DOWN LIKE WATERS AND RIGHTEOUSNESS LIKE AN EVER-FLOWING STREAM.”
JOYCE VANCE, A FORMER U.S. ATTORNEY FOR THE NORTHERN DISTRICT OF ALABAMA, NOTED THAT FLYNN’S LIES TO FBI AGENTS WILL BE WIDELY ASSUMED TO HAVE SOME ULTERIOR MOTIVE.
“A FALSE STATEMENT TO THE GOVERNMENT DOESN’T HAPPEN IN A VACUUM,” SHE SAID. “FALSE STATEMENTS HAPPEN TO COVER UP OTHER PROBLEMS, OTHER CRIMINAL CONDUCT. IT SEEMS VERY LIKELY THAT FLYNN HAS A STORY TO TELL AND NOW MUELLER HAS GIVEN HIM THE DEAL HE WAS SEEKING — OR WAS PERHAPS FORCED TO ACCEPT.”
OF THE THREE OTHER PEOPLE IN THE RICH ASSHOLE’S ORBIT WHO HAVE BEEN CHARGED AS PART OF MUELLER’S PROBE — FORMER THE RICH ASSHOLE CAMPAIGN CHAIRMAN PAUL MANAFORT, HIS ASSOCIATE RICHARD GATES AND FORMER FOREIGN POLICY ADVISER GEORGE PAPADOPOULOS — ONLY PAPADOPOULOS IS KNOWN TO BE COOPERATING WITH INVESTIGATORS.
WHEN NEWS OF PAPADOPOULOS’S COOPERATION FIRST BROKE IN OCTOBER, MORE SENIOR FIGURES AROUND THE RICH ASSHOLE TOOK A MEASURE OF COMFORT FROM HIS RELATIVE LACK OF STANDING IN THEIR WORLD. HE WAS NOT REGULARLY IN CONTACT WITH TOP-LEVEL CAMPAIGN OFFICIALS, THEY INSISTED.
THAT IS CLEARLY NOT TRUE OF FLYNN, WHO WAS A KEY CAMPAIGN ADVISER AND SPOKE ON THE RICH ASSHOLE’S BEHALF AT LAST YEAR’S REPUBLICAN NATIONAL CONVENTION IN CLEVELAND, WHERE HE LED THE CROWD IN A CHANT OF “LOCK HER UP” IN REFERENCE TO DEMOCRATIC NOMINEE HILLARY CLINTON.
FLYNN'S COOPERATION MEANS THAT THE RICH ASSHOLE FAMILY MEMBERS LIKE KUSHNER — AS WELL AS THE RICH ASSHOLE HIMSELF, SHOULD HE AGREE TO MEET WITH INVESTIGATORS — COULD BE AT RISK, ACCORDING TO EXPERTS.
HARRY LITMAN, A FORMER DEPUTY ASSISTANT ATTORNEY GENERAL, PREDICTED ON FRIDAY AFTERNOON THAT, “KUSHNER AND THE RICH ASSHOLE ARE HUDDLING WITH THEIR LAWYERS RIGHT NOW TRYING TO FIGURE OUT EVERYTHING THEY EVER SAID TO MICHAEL FLYNN.”
LITMAN ADDED, “IT’S NOT AS IF PROSECUTORS ARE GOING TO SAY, ‘FLYNN THINKS X, WHAT DO YOU THINK?’ IF FLYNN SAID X AND THEN THEY SAY Y, THEY COULD BE IN SERIOUS TROUBLE.”
NO ONE KNOWS HOW MUCH MUELLER KNOWS, OR WHETHER OTHER POTENTIAL WITNESSES, AS YET UNDISCOVERED, ARE COOPERATING WITH HIM.
IF PEOPLE CLOSE TO THE PRESIDENT HAVE ANYTHING TO HIDE, THAT IS AN UNNERVING VISTA.
“FOR THE RICH ASSHOLE, REMEMBER THE CENTRAL PART THE FLYNN INVESTIGATION HAS PLAYED IN ALL THE MANEUVERINGS TO DATE,” LITMAN SAID. “WELL, WHATEVER FLYNN KNOWS, BOB MUELLER NOW KNOWS. AND WHATEVER MUELLER NOW KNOWS, EVENTUALLY THE COUNTRY WILL KNOW.”

the rich asshole Gives Rich Donors Tax Cuts For Campaign Donations

President Donald Trump arrived in New York to meet with potential donors for his 2020 re-election campaign, donors who are expecting to gain substantially from the Trump administration’s tax overhaul bill that was passed by the Senate in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Trump will spend his one-day trip in the city meeting with potential donors leading fundraising events and attending a discussion with Republican National Committee supporters to discuss his 2020 campaign. He plans to raise around $6 million while in New York, from donors who will attend his “Christmas Breakfast with President Trump,” with tickets ranging from $1,000 per individual to $50,000 for a VIP table for 10.
Those donors stand to gain from the Trump-backed tax bill that was passed by a vote of 51-49 after a last-minute rewrite that gave senators very little time to review what they were voting on. The bill benefits the wealthiest Americans the most, slashing tax rates for the middle class initially but permanently cutting the corporate tax rate from 35 percent to 20 percent. Foreign profits of U.S.-based companies would be largely exempted, something that lobbyists have wanted for years.
While Senate Democrats had very little input on the bill, lobbyists saw the bill early on and gave their input - for example, real estate groups spoke with members of Congress to voice their concern over a potential limit on interest deductions.
The $1.5 trillion dollar tax bill was a priority for Senate Republicans and lobbyists alike. Senator Lindsay Graham (R-South Carolina), said last month that the tax bill needed to be passed if Republicans didn’t want to see donor money dry up.
“Financial contributions will stop,” said Graham of the potential ramifications of the bill not passing, according to an NBC report. Graham has also said that the bill needed to pass to avoid the demise of the Republican party as a whole.
Now that the tax bill is one step closer to finalization, Trump can take his promises to protect corporate tax benefits and cash them in, coming back to the White House with a sizable boost to his 2020 campaign funding. The campaign raised more than $36 million in the first nine months of 2017.
"The Republicans have managed to take a bad bill and make it worse," said Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer.
"Under the cover of darkness and with the aid of haste, a flurry of last-minute changes will stuff even more money into the pockets of the wealthy and the biggest corporations."

If Donald Trump and Mike Pence are ousted, get ready for President Paul Ryan.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives is next in line if both the president and the vice president are removed from office simultaneously. And that may sound enticing for critics of the administration, until they remember Ryan's record.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives is next in line if both the president and the vice president are removed from office simultaneously. And that may sound enticing for critics of the administration, until they remember Ryan's record.
As Speaker, Ryan has failed to push through any important legislation at a time when Republicans control the House, the Senate, and the White House. But if he could, he has made it clear he’d like to slash funding for Medicaid, Medicare and food stamps. Some of his most noteworthy ideas over the years have included privatizing Social Security and abolishing the corporate income tax. He often blames the poor for their problems.
“We have got this tailspin of culture, in our inner cities in particular, of men not working and just generations of men not even thinking about working or learning the value and the culture of work,” he told a conservative radio host in 2014. “There is a real culture problem here that has to be dealt with."
Others have called the Wisconsin Representative an opportunist who condemned Trump during the campaign, saying he could not support him after the notorious Access Hollywood video came out, but has failed to criticize Trump since he took office.
"If Trump and Pence get removed, Paul Ryan becomes president. We’re fucked no matter what," tweeted @anthagiox, saying what many were tweeting on Friday.
The prospect of a Ryan administration gained traction Friday after former Trump National Security Adviser Mike Flynn pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about his contacts with foreign agents. Flynn, a key figure in Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into the Trump campaign’s alleged collusion with the Russian government during the 2016 presidential election, is widely believed to have agreed to testify in exchange for a plea deal.
ABC News reported on Friday that Flynn will testify that Trump instructed him to contact Russian officials during the 2016 campaign. If true, the information Flynn provides could lead to an indictment or the impeachment of Trump. Vice President Mike Pence would be the next in line for the presidency, but it's also possible that Pence could be implicated in the Russia scandal. Federal prosecutors revealed Friday that a senior Trump transition official directed Flynn to speak to Russian ambassador. That person could very likely be Pence, who also led Flynn's vetting process.
Pence has a history of denying his knowledge of the Trump campaign's activities during the 2016 campaign. Last year, Pence publicly denied that the Trump campaign had ever been in touch with WikiLeaks, a statement that turned out to be false. In November, Donald Trump Jr., the president’s son, admitted that he had exchanged messages with WikiLeaks, the organization that leaked information stolen from the Democratic Party by Russian hackers.
And Thursday, news broke that Trump ally Roger Stone had been communicating with WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange with the help of a New York radio host. Stone, who is in regular communication with the president, has bragged about his ties to Wikileaks. Given this extent of the Trump campaign’s contact with WikiLeaks during the 2016 election, it’s hard to believe Pence had no knowledge of these incidents.
Pence may also be implicated in obstruction of justice in relation to the firing of former FBI Director James Comey.
So it all points to Ryan—unless, of course, Trump is impeached and President Pence gets his own vice president confirmed before he's ousted, too.
‘No justice!’: the rich asshole blasts ‘rigged system’ that ‘destroyed’ Mike Flynn in second set of wild Saturday tweets
DON'T MISS STORIES. FOLLOW RAW STORY!
President some rich asshole took to Twitter again on Saturday evening to complain about the Department of Justice’s handling of ousted national security adviser Michael Flynn and to attack a favorite opponent, former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.
“So General Flynn lies to the FBI and his life is destroyed, while Crooked Hillary Clinton, on that now famous FBI holiday “interrogation” with no swearing in and no recording, lies many times…and nothing happens to her? Rigged system, or just a double standard?” he wrote.
He continued, “Many people in our Country are asking what the ‘Justice’ Department is going to do about the fact that totally Crooked Hillary, AFTER receiving a subpoena from the United States Congress, deleted and “acid washed” 33,000 Emails? No justice!”
He went on to — once again — insist that the Russia investigation is a “witch hunt” by way of offering a left-handed compliment to ABC News for suspending Brian Ross.
“Congratulations to @ABC News for suspending Brian Ross for his horrendously inaccurate and dishonest report on the Russia, Russia, Russia Witch Hunt. More Networks and ‘papers’ should do the same with their Fake News!” he said.
Earlier on Saturday, tweets from the rich asshole’s account raised eyebrows by appearing to be an admission of obstruction of justice. The White House frantically walked that back by blaming the rich asshole’s personal attorney John Dowd for the reckless tweet.
Observers say that the rich asshole is acting more erratic and is constantly fuming about the Russia investigation.
Frequently when the rich asshole is under pressure or feeling trapped, he makes his wildest and most outlandish accusations on Twitter in an attempt to change the subject. The tweets that are now blamed on John Dowd could place the rich asshole in considerable legal jeopardy if they are proven to be his statements.

The internet was confused Saturday after some rich asshole’s notorious Twitter feed seemed to directly implicate the president in obstruction of justice.
In a tweet claiming “there was nothing to hide” the president acknowledged that he had knowledge that Mike Flynn had lied to the FBI at the time of his departure, which the rich asshole mischaracterized as a firing when he had actually allowed Flynn to resign.
The internet could not understand why the rich asshole would break his Twitter silence on Flynn’s guilty plea with an admission of guilt.
Russian politicians rushing to defense of ‘scapegoat’ Michael Flynn after guilty plea: report
DON'T MISS STORIES. FOLLOW RAW STORY!
The international intrigue surrounding special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation of President some rich asshole has some prominent Russian politicians spinning Mike Flynn’s guilty plea to defend the rich asshole in the investigations into Russian collusion.
“With Mueller’s probe as close as it has ever been to the Oval Office, prominent Russian politicians are paying attention,” CNN anchor Ana Cabrera explained, introducing CNN international correspondent Mathew Chance, reporting live from Moscow.
“Well, there’s been something of an official silence when it comes to response to these dramatic developments that have been unfolding in the United States,” Chance replied. ‘We’ve ask the Kremlin to see whether they can give us their comments on what’s been taking place and we’ve had no response from them.”
“It’s just a couple of relatively senior Russian lawmakers that have taken to social media to voice their opinions about the confession essentially of Michael Flynn, the former National Security Advisor to President the rich asshole,” Chance explained. “One of them saying that this is a case that is a sack of smoke, essentially it is just hype. Another senator saying that Flynn is a scapegoat and this is really just an attack on the U.S. president.”
“So the little reaction that we’ve had so far seems to be following the previous Russian insistence that nothing untoward happened, there-there was no collusion and essentially to paraphrase Russian and U.S. officials, this is merely fake news,” Chance noted.
“The truth is, though, that with all this evidence stacking up and this confession of Flynn, those stories, those lies are starting to gradually, in fact very quickly unravel,” Chance concluded.

Watch an MSNBC legal analyst ridicule the rich asshole for handing Mueller a gift by tweeting about Flynn’s plea deal
DON'T MISS STORIES. FOLLOW RAW STORY!
Appearing with MSNBC’s Alex Witt, two legal analysts marveled and laughed at a President some rich asshole’s Saturday tweet that they claim could be used as an admission of guilt that will be used by special counsel Robert Mueller in a obstruction case against the sitting president.
Saturday afternoon, the rich asshole tweeted, “I had to fire General Flynn because he lied to the Vice President and the FBI. He has pled guilty to those lies. It is a shame because his actions during the transition were lawful. There was nothing to hide!”
According to Brennan Center of Justice President Michael Waldman and MSNBC legal analyst Danny Cevallos, the rich asshole’s tweet may come back to haunt him since presidential tweets are accepted as official statements.
“Do you think the president just admitted knowing Flynn was lying at the time of the firing or is there some wiggle room here knowing how the president can be loose with his wording when it comes to his tweets?” Witt asked, before adding, “But if it were true, would that qualify as obstruction?”
“It’s interesting for exactly the reason that you pointed out — timing,” Cevallos explained. “Section 1001 requires that the person making the statement knowingly make a false statement. So the rich asshole’s tweet about the fact that Flynn lied to the vice president and lied to FBI agents raises the question of whether or not he knew he lied at the time — whether or not the rich asshole was aware he lied at the time — because then the rich asshole could be read as saying there was nothing wrong. No one did anything wrong except that Flynn lied to FBI agents, which we know from the false statement statute is itself a crime. So read that way, Trumps tweet makes no sense. Read another way, it’s arguably okay.”
Waldman had a slightly different take.
“I think some rich asshole is going to regret that Twitter expanded to 280 characters giving him more room to confess to obstruction of justice in his tweets,” Waldman quipped. “Let’s look at the big picture. He just said that Michael Flynn lying to the FBI was one of the reasons he fired him. Now broaden the time horizon. He then asked the then-director of the FBI to drop the investigation, and then he fired the director of the FBI.”
“We don’t know where the criminal probe will go,” Waldman continued. “There are limits to where any criminal investigation can go in terms of all of the facts, but this should put to rest the idea that, ‘Hey, this is all fake news. This Russia thing is a setup as the president has been saying.’ It really underscores that — we know there was collusion, the question was, was there criminal acts involved in the collusion of then and now from the president’s own itchy Twitter fingers, we now have of obstruction.”
“So, Danny, at this point you have Flynn, certainly the prosecution’s star witness, there’s no denying that,” Witt pressed. “But having pled guilty now, Flynn is admitting he’s a liar. So what does that do in terms of his credibility as a witness? Could that in any way be used against him?”
“It absolutely will be used against him,”Cevallos answered. “This is Cross Examination 101, and actually it’s no surprise to the prosecution. This is the case in every single prosecution in which the U.S. Attorneys enter into a cooperating witness agreement because for many millennia, prosecutors have realized to catch a criminal, you often have to get information from a criminal.”
“Yes, the prosecution is getting vital information about their prosecution, but it’s coming from the mouth of what is usually a convicted criminal with credibility problems. Particularly so when your star witness has been convicted of a crime of falsity,” he added.

When President some rich asshole tweeted on Saturday that he’s certain everything ousted national security adviser Mike Flynn did during the transition was “lawful,” he may have openly admitted to the crime of obstruction of justice.

“Never tweet,” Miller added. “Especially if you’re going to tweet an admission to a crime.”
The Hill reported that Rep. Ted Lieu (D-CA) joined in, writing, “THIS IS OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE. @POTUS now admits he KNEW Michael Flynn lied to the FBI. Yet the rich asshole tried to influence or stop the FBI investigation on Flynn.”
Former ethics czar to President George W. Bush Richard Painter said that the rich asshole is tweeting his way straight into federal charges.

Speculation that former National Security Advisor Mike Flynn will be testifying against senior White House advisor Jared Kushner had CNN anchor Christi Paul wondering why Ivanka the rich asshole’s husband still has security clearance.
“Why does Jared Kushner, the president’s son-in-law, still have security clearance based on everything that has happened over the last four, five months?” Paul asked.
“Well, I think that’s a good question and likely he should not have security clearance, especially given the ongoing investigation and his repeated calls back to testify on what he omitted from security clearance form,” former U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Georgia, Michael Moore, replied.
Kushner likely committed perjury by failing to disclose 100 contacts on his SF-86 security clearance questionnaire. His wife, Ivanka the rich asshole, has also had her security clearance questioned by lawmakers.
“I think what you have got to look at this in the whole context of this is about Mike Flynn’s plea deal. Typically there’s a theory that the better the deal, the bigger the fish. It tells me, when I look at it, that very likely there’s somebody up the line that Bob Mueller has already got Mike Flynn’s information in sworn testimony before grand jury — recorded testimony, on the record testimony — and he’s got the information he needs to move forward,” Moore deduced.
“For months, remember that some rich asshole has called this a witch hunt. And really what we know from the plea agreement at this point is it’s no longer a witch hunt, but in fact Mike Flynn is going to tell us about a coven of witches that were located somewhere in the the rich asshole transition office,” the former prosecutor predicted. “I think this gonna move on up the ladder.”
“I’m struggling to contain myself, what you’re seeing is a conversation, I think Michael just captured it brilliantly about what’s going on on the legal side,” former CIA counterterrorism official Phil Mudd admitted. “That’s not why I bristle as a former intelligence officer and member of the executive branch of government.”
“I go back to campaign, when a former serving general in the U.S. military, got in front of an audience and said that a political opponent should be locked up. That’s what third world countries do,” Mudd noted. “Michael Flynn should be ashamed not just for lying to a federal officer back in January, we need to hear an apology for getting on the campaign trail — in the American democratic experiment — and saying that a rival candidate, whether you like it or not, should be locked. That was shameful.”

‘I’ll go on TV anytime I goddamn fucking want!’: the rich asshole was a screaming nightmare during 2016 campaign

A memoir by two former the rich asshole 2016 officials paints then-candidate the rich asshole as a hot-tempered, screaming tyrant with a bottomless appetite for junk food, said The Washington Post on Saturday.
The political neophyte frequently bucked his advisers’ directives and ran a chaotic operation beset by constant petty rivalries and failures of communication. Frequently, the former reality TV game show host would go on a screaming, bellowing “all-out assault” against whoever displeased him.
“Sooner or later, everybody who works for some rich asshole will see a side of him that makes you wonder why you took a job with him in the first place,” wrote former the rich asshole 2016 officials Corey Lewandowski and David Bossie. “His wrath is never intended as any personal offense, but sometimes it can be hard not to take it that way. The mode that he switches into when things aren’t going his way can feel like an all-out assault; it’d break most hardened men and women into little pieces.”
One particularly vicious blowup came when the rich asshole learned during a helicopter flight that then-campaign chairman Paul Manafort suggested that the rich asshole should do fewer TV appearances and let him speak for the campaign.
the rich asshole ordered the helicopter pilot to decrease altitude so he could call Manafort on his cell phone.
“Did you say I shouldn’t be on TV on Sunday? I’ll go on TV anytime I g*dd*mn f*cking want and you won’t say another f*cking word about me!” the rich asshole reportedly yelled. “Tone it down? I wanna turn it up! . . . You’re a political pro? Let me tell you something. I’m a pro at life. I’ve been around a time or two. I know guys like you, with your hair and skin . . .”
Lewandowski is particularly effusive in his gushing praise for his former boss, the Post said, calling the unhinged helicopter outburst, “one of the greatest takedowns in the history of the world.”
Elsewhere, the book reportedly details Steve Bannon’s machinations against Manafort and other rivals on the campaign and enlarges on the rich asshole’s reputation as a demanding, micromanaging boss.
At one point, Lewandowski was reportedly so ill that he couldn’t stay awake, falling asleep during a campaign plane trip. He awoke to the rich asshole telling him, “Corey, if you can’t take it, we’ll get somebody else.”
The book also recounts the president’s bottomless appetite for junk food, a typical dinner from McDonald’s consisting of two Big Macs, two Fillet-o-Fish sandwiches and a chocolate malted.
“On the rich asshole Force One there were four major food groups: McDonald’s, Kentucky Fried Chicken, pizza and Diet Coke,” wrote Bossie and Lewandowski.
The campaign plane’s cupboards were “stacked with Vienna Fingers, potato chips, pretzels and many packages of Oreos because the rich asshole, a renowned germaphobe, would not eat from a previously opened package,” the Post said.
The president is reportedly fussy about his meals and wants them hot and at specific times, making the task of planning them as much of a priority as all other campaign activities.
“(T)he orchestrating and timing of some rich asshole’s meals was as important as any other aspect of his march to the presidency,” the authors said.
“In another episode, Lewandowski describes how staffer Sam Nunberg was purposely left behind at a McDonald’s because Nunberg’s special-order burger was taking too long,” the Post recounted.
“Leave him,” the rich asshole reportedly said. “Let’s go.”
And the group did.

A trove of emails obtained by The New York Times shows that officials in President some rich asshole’s campaign and transition teams were fully aware that now-ousted national security adviser Mike Flynn was in contact with officials from the Russian government — in spite of their public insistence that Flynn was acting alone.
“In fact, the emails, coupled with interviews and court documents filed on Friday, showed that Mr. Flynn was in close touch with other senior members of the rich asshole transition team both before and after he spoke with the Russian ambassador, Sergey I. Kislyak, about American sanctions against Russia,” said the Times.
On Dec. 29, deputy national security director K. T. McFarland told a friend via email that Russia had just “thrown the election” to the rich asshole over his rival, Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.
The emails obtained by the Times show a concerted effort by the rich asshole transition team to soothe Russia’s misgivings about the sanctions and assure the rival nation that the U.S. doesn’t mean it any harm.
“The rich asshole advisers feared that a cycle of retaliation between the United States and Russia would keep the spotlight on Moscow’s election meddling, tarnishing some rich asshole’s victory and potentially hobbling his presidency from the start,” the Times reported.
McFarland told now-Homeland Security official Tom Bossert in emails that Flynn would be meeting with Russian ambassador to the U.S. — and purported Kremlin spymaster — Sergey Kislyak in an attempt to smooth things over with President Vladimir Putin’s administration.
Bossert forwarded McFarland’s notice that Flynn was meeting with Kisylak to six other top figures in the White House transition team including Reince Priebus, Steve Bannon and Sean Spicer.
Some of the questions about Kushner show that Mueller team’s focus on potential obstruction of justice by the rich asshole administration.
“Another witness said agents and prosecutors repeatedly asked him about the rich asshole’s decision-making during the May weekend he decided to fire FBI Director James B. Comey. Other experts disagree with Sekulow’s conclusion.
“Foreigners can’t contribute to federal, state, or local campaigns, and that doesn’t just cover cash contributions,” Kathleen Clark, a professor at the law school of Washington University in St. Louis, explained. “According to the statute, if a campaign solicits a foreigner to give a ‘thing of value’ to a political campaign, that would be illegal as well.”
The hacking of the DNC could also provide the rich asshole associates with legal exposure under the 1986 Computer Fraud and Abuse Act.
“If there is an agreement to commit hacking, it doesn’t matter if the people in the rich asshole campaign didn’t do the actual hacking—it just matters that they knew someone else would do it. There just needs to be an agreement that one or more will do it,” Orin Kerr, a professor at George Washington University Law School and computer law expert noted. “They just need to have encouraged the hacking.”
A recent Supreme Court decision, Rosemond v. United States, expanded the definition of aiding and abetting to include assistance after the crime has been committed.
“Rosemond suggests that you can be held liable for the full crime even if you don’t know about every single element in advance. In this context, it may mean that the rich asshole-campaign officials can be prosecuted for aiding and abetting the hacking even though they did not know about it when it was done,” Brookings Institution fellow and former lawyer at the National Security Agency Susan Hennessey explained. “By joining in the distribution of the hacked e-mails, they aided and abetted the commission of the crime.”
Toobin suggests that obstruction of justice will be easier for special counsel Robert Mueller to prove.
“Unlike ‘collusion,’ the crime of obstruction of justice is well established and easy to understand,” Toobin noted. “The issue is at the heart of Mueller’s mandate because a possible obstruction of justice—the President’s decision to fire James Comey—gave rise to the creation of the special-counsel position in the first place. The crucial issue in the Comey firing is whether the President had a corrupt motive for the dismissal.”
Toobin also suggested that the rich asshole could be impeached under a lesser-known part of impeachment provisions focused on bribery.
“the rich asshole’s financial affairs, especially with regard to Russia, remain opaque, but it’s possible to imagine how they might give rise to an impeachable offense. A straight payoff to the rich asshole—cash in return for, say, a relaxation of the sanctions imposed by President Obama on the Putin regime—would certainly be impeachable even if it were not technically a crime under American law. the rich asshole’s known business dealings suggest the possibility of a quid pro quo with Russian interests,” Toobin explained. “In 2015, for example, the rich asshole signed a ‘letter of intent’ to build a tower in Moscow. Felix Sater, a Russian associate of the rich asshole’s, wrote of the project, in an e-mail to the rich asshole’s attorney Michael Cohen, ‘Our boy can become president of the USA and we can engineer it. . . . I will get all of Putins team to buy in on this, I will manage this process.’ That deal never came to fruition, but the intent expressed on both sides is deeply troubling.”
