The rich asshole White House is apparently quite threatened by journalists who are simply doing their jobs. Imagine that.

For the rich asshole administration, no news is good news, because almost any news is “fake news.”
And the stubborn, panicked fear of journalists doing their jobs is pushing this White House to extremely undemocratic ends.
During a contentious press briefing Monday, Sarah Huckabee Sanders grew visibly and vocally aggravated with CNN’s Jim Acosta, when he tried to defend his fellow journalists who have made occasional mistakes in their reporting.
In some rich asshole’s authoritarian view, they all deserve to be fired. And Sanders sees nothing wrong with that.
“There’s a very big difference between making honest mistakes and purposefully misleading the American people,” she snapped, demanding that journalists “own up” to their errors.
Acosta shot back that they do, and then tried to ask Sanders about the women who have accused some rich asshole of sexual misconduct. Sanders repeatedly rebuffed and ignored his questions.
But that wasn’t the end of her despotic outbursts.
During a pool spray Tuesday morning, Acosta attempted to ask the rich asshole about the disgusting, innuendo-laden tweet he sent attacking Democratic Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand. the rich asshole, typically, ignored Acosta.
And Sanders dutifully followed in her boss’s footsteps — but Acosta was not having it:
Sanders ought to have known that a few snide words wouldn’t be enough to cow someone like Acosta, who has been a staunch thorn in the side of the rich asshole administration’s attacks on the First Amendment.
Acosta is also not reticent about calling the rich asshole’s crass behavior in general, and shaming him for his repugnant insults against “nearly every minority or religious group that you can possibly offend here in the United States.”
NBC News White House correspondent Hallie Jackson immediately spoke up for her colleague:
This indeed is not how this is supposed to work, under normal circumstances.
But the rich asshole era is anything but normal.
When you have someone in the Oval Office who thinks it is perfectly acceptable to demand the firing of any journalist who makes even a minor and innocent mistake, one they immediately account for and correct, it is crystal clear that the administration does not think the norms and traditions apply to them.
But that won’t stop journalists from calling them out for it, as often and as loudly as necessary.

some rich asshole’s tweets are in Putin’s news briefs

Russian President Vladimir Putin may not follow President Donald Trump on Twitter, but Kremlin staff keep him up to date with the U.S. leader’s tweets, his spokesman has said. And Moscow takes them very seriously.
“Everything that comes out of his authorized Twitter [account] is perceived in Moscow as his official statements and nothing else,” Dmitry Peskov, Putin’s spokesman, told theInterfax news agency on Tuesday. “Of course this is reported to President Putin alongside other information from official statements by politicians and heads of state from other countries in the world.”

Trump’s use of Twitter during his campaign and presidency has repeatedly stoked controversy, as critics have said the often-aggressive tone and haphazard grammar and spelling is inappropriate for the highest office in the country. The president has repeatedly come under fire for his tweeting of political memes, including one that showed a golf ball hitting his presidential rival Hillary Clinton, and another, since deleted, that showed a cartoon train running over a person superimposed with the CNN logo.
Asked what the Kremlin makes of Trump’s social media posts in general, Peskov said it is not for him to judge Trump’s tweeting, but noted that Putin does not have a personal Twitter profile.
There are a handful of official accounts dedicated to Putin and the office of Russian president, including two verified accounts for the Kremlin, one tweeting in English andthe other in Russian. Neither follows Trump’s personal account, but both follow the White House, former President Barack Obama, former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and former Argentine President Cristina de Kirchner.
At time of publication, neither followed more than 35 accounts, the majority of which are Russian officials, events and agencies, although the English-language account also follows NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, the EU Council and the British Prime Minister’s official account.
Currently the relationship between Putin and Trump is under close scrutiny because of the ongoing investigation into alleged collusion between the Trump campaign team and Russia in attempts to meddle in the 2016 election. Both Putin and Trump have denied the allegations, though determining the degree of confirmed contact between Russian officials and Trump's team prior to his official swearing in as president has been far from straightforward. General Counsel Robert Mueller took over several investigations earlier this year, now leading an overall investigation into Russian influence and potential links with the Trump team.
Trump's eagerness to engage with people on social media doesn't extend to the Russian leader. Last month, Peskov asked people seeking answers from the Russian president to stick to the official modes of communication, telling a group of athletes who published an open letter to Putin on Instagram not to expect a reply on social media.
"Understand this, Instagram has never been and, I hope, will never be a channel of communication with the president of Russia,” Peskov told state news agency RIA Novosti, when asked about the letter.

Despicable the rich asshole Suggests Female Senator Would ‘Do Anything’ With Him For Campaign Money (TWEET)
some rich asshole is afraid of strong, powerful women. He is a horrific misogynist, and has shown himself to be so over and over again. That is nothing new. He has mocked the weight of a beauty queen, made repeated suggestions about women’s menstrual cycles, and had repeatedly called women who accuse men – including himself – of sexual harassment and sexual assault of being liars and threatened to sue him. Now, he has gone even lower with an attack on Democratic Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (NY).
In an early morning tweet, the rich asshole actually suggested that Senator Gillibrand would have sex with him for campaign money. No, I’m not kidding. Here is the tweet:
For one thing, I don’t think Kirsten Gillibrand has to beg the likes of some rich asshole for anything, and she certainly would not stoop anywhere near doing what the rich asshole is suggesting for campaign money. Think about this, folks: the sitting “president” is actually saying that a sitting Senator offered him sex in exchange for campaign money. That is truly beyond the pale. We already knew that some rich asshole was a sexist asshole, but this is a new low, even for him.
General Kelly, General McMaster, and whomever else is running that White House – DO SOMETHING about this fool’s Twitter habit. It is way out of control, and he does great damage to the nation with ever
140 280 character outburst. This is outrageous. Forget the fact that the orange overlord is currently squatting in the Oval Office – no adult, period, should be acting like this.
In this watershed “Me Too” moment in America, it is time to call out the Sexist-in-Chief for what he is – a complete misogynist who has no respect for women and never has. Ivanka, Melania, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Hope Hicks, and all the other women in the rich asshole’s orbit need to step up and say that there’s been more than enough. Curtail this man’s sexist behavior, or turn in your woman card. Every last one of you.
Gillibrand fires back at the rich asshole: 'You cannot silence me'
BY AVERY ANAPOL - 12/12/17 09:08 AM EST
Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) fired back at President the rich asshole after he attacked her on Twitter, tweeting Tuesday that the president “cannot silence” her or other women who have said he has brought shame to the White House.
“You cannot silence me or the millions of women who have gotten off the sidelines to speak out about the unfitness and shame you have brought to the Oval Office,” Gillibrand, who a day earlier had said the rich asshole should resign from office, wrote on Twitter.
Lightweight Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, a total flunky for Chuck Schumer and someone who would come to my office “begging” for campaign contributions not so long ago (and would do anything for them), is now in the ring fighting against Trump. Very disloyal to Bill & Crooked-USED!
The attacks were a predictable response from the rich asshole after Gillibrand said Monday that he should resign over the numerous sexual harassment and assault allegations against him.
Gillibrand previously called for Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) to resign after he was accused of groping and forcible kissing multiple women. She also said in November that former President Bill Clinton should have resigned over the Monica Lewinsky scandal.
the rich asshole homed in on that statement in his tweet, calling her “very disloyal” to Clinton, an accusation also made by a former top Clinton aide, Philippe Reines.
Gillibrand told CNN’s Christine Amanpour on Monday that if the rich asshole does not step down, there should be a congressional investigation into the accusations from more than a dozen women who have said the rich asshole sexually harassed or assaulted them in the past.
the rich asshole says Gillibrand begged for donations 'and would do anything for them'
BY MALLORY SHELBOURNE - 12/12/17 08:21 AM EST
President the rich asshole early Tuesday blasted Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) for coming to his office "begging" for donations and as someone who "would do anything for them."
The broadside against Gillibrand comes a day after the New York Democrat said the rich asshole should resign from the presidency because of the accusations of sexual misconduct numerous women have made against him.
Gillibrand said the accusations against the rich asshole are “credible” and should be investigated, and she told CNN’s Christiane Amanpour that the president should resign.
Less than 24 hours later, the rich asshole was on Twitter calling Gillibrand a “flunky” for Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) and a “lightweight” lawmaker.
He also made a reference to Gillibrand's statement this month that President Bill Clinton should have resigned from office, calling her "very disloyal" to the former president.
Gillibrand responded later on Tuesday, ripping the rich asshole and saying he could not silence her.
Gillibrand has been a voice against sexual harassment for years, and made a name for herself in the Senate by pushing for reforms to how the military handles sexual misconduct cases.
She's been in the center of the news over the last week as allegations of sexual misconduct against men in politics, entertainment, the media and other fields have washed through the headlines.
Gillibrand, seen by many as a potential 2020 presidential candidate, was the first Democratic senator to call on Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) to resign last week. Franken had been accused by multiple women of groping and forced kissing.
In November, she said that Clinton should have resigned over the Monica Lewinsky affair.
The remark about Clinton drew a withering response on Twitter from longtime Clinton aide Philippe Reines, who has worked for both Hillary Clinton and the former president.
He called Gillibrand a "hypocrite" for taking the Clintons' endorsements, money and seat, as Gillibrand replaced Hillary Clinton as New York's senator when Clinton became secretary of State in the Obama administration.
"Interesting strategy for 2020 primaries. Best of luck," he concluded.

the rich asshole repeats PolitiFact’s ‘Lie of the Year’ minutes after earning dubious honor — and floats new one

President some rich asshole repeated PolitiFact’s freshly minted “lie of the year,”and got down to work on spreading a contender for next year’s dubious honor.
The nonpartisan fact-checking organization on Tuesday morning named the rich asshole’s insistence that allegations of Russian election interference were a “hoax” as its lie of the year, and the president tweeted the claims anew a few minutes later.
“Despite thousands of hours wasted and many millions of dollars spent, the Democrats have been unable to show any collusion with Russia,” the rich asshole tweeted, “so now they are moving on to the false accusations and fabricated stories of women who I don’t know and/or have never met. FAKE NEWS!”
The president has denied the allegations of at least 19 women who say the rich asshole made unwelcome sexual advances or worse, but the tweet seems to be the most forceful insistence that he’d never even met his accusers.
‘You cannot silence me’: Kirsten Gillibrand hits back at the rich asshole for harassing her on Twitter

Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) fired back at President some rich asshole’s Tuesday morning tweet in which the president suggestively said that she used to be willing to “do anything” to receive his campaign donations.
“You cannot silence me or the millions of women who have gotten off the sidelines to speak out about the unfitness and shame you have brought to the Oval Office,” Gillibrand wrote.
the rich asshole’s original tweet, which was in response to Gillibrand calling on the rich asshole to step down in the wake of multiple sexual misconduct allegations made against him, accused the senator of regularly coming to his office and “begging” him for campaign donations.
“Lightweight Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, a total flunky for Chuck Schumer and someone who would come to my office ‘begging’ for campaign contributions not so long ago (and would do anything for them), is now in the ring fighting against the rich asshole,” the president wrote.
The combination of the rich asshole saying Gillibrand would come “begging” for money and would “do anything for them” has led some commenters to question whether the rich asshole was making some kind of sexual innuendo in his attacks on the New York senator.
Gillibrand, who last week led the charge in calling on Sen. Al Franken (D-MN) to resign in the wake of his own allegations of sexual misconduct, said this week that the rich asshole ought to resign his office after more than a dozen women have accused him of sexual harassment.
the rich asshole’s wild claims about ‘Russia hoax’ named PolitiFact’s ‘lie of the year’
DON'T MISS STORIES. FOLLOW RAW STORY!
The fact-checking news site PolitiFact has called President some rich asshole’s claim that Russian interference in the 2016 election is a hoax as the 2017 “Lie of the Year.”
“The Russia hoax continues, now it’s ads on Facebook. What about the totally biased and dishonest Media coverage in favor of Crooked Hillary?” the rich asshole tweeted in September. However, nothing could be further from the truth.
According to the site, the evidence against the rich asshole is overwhelming. Classified reports as well as public ones from 17 United States intelligence agencies have confirmed that Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered an interference in the 2016 election. Russia’s attack went from cyber-theft to propaganda placement and an “overall effort to undermine public faith in the U.S. democratic process,” they wrote Tuesday.
the rich asshole’s White House has called the Russia interference a “made-up story,” all the while, elected members of Congress agree that it happened. Tech sites like Google, Facebook and Twitter have also made it clear that Russia was involved.
the rich asshole claimed that during an Asian summit earlier in the year, Putin told him that he didn’t do it. the rich asshole said that he believes the Russian leader over the U.S. intelligence agencies, the U.S. tech companies, members of Congress and reporters.
“When the nation’s commander-in-chief refuses to acknowledge a threat to U.S. democracy, it makes it all the more difficult to address the problem. For this reason, we name the rich asshole’s claim that the Russia interference is a hoax as our Lie of the Year for 2017,” PolitiFact wrote in their assessment.
A recent CNN survey revealed that 22 percent of Americans see the Russia scandal as a “crisis.” An additional 44 percent believe it is a “major problem.” A full two-thirds of the United States believes that the rich asshole’s Russia scandal is an important story. A full 59 percent of Americans said that the rich asshole personally knew during 2016 that people in his campaign were in contact with Russian operatives.
According to Politico, another Pew poll found that Republican confidence in Putin doubled to 34 percent from 17 percent in 2015. Most Republicans (83 percent) also believe that the allegations were nothing more than a distraction.
US ambassador insists the rich asshole will visit Britain despite sharing ‘misunderstood’ neo-Nazi tweets

The U.S. ambassador to Britain insisted President some rich asshole would visit despite sharing three propaganda videos promoted by a British neo-Nazi leader.
Woody Johnson, the American ambassador, said Tuesday that the rich asshole would dedicate the new U.S. embassy in London, although it’s not clear what sort of welcome he would meet, reported the New York Times.
Prime Minister Theresa May invited the rich asshole on behalf of Queen Elizabeth II, but the first year of his tumultuous presidency has tested the long alliance between the two English-speaking nations.
May and other British politicians condemned the U.S. president for retweeting three anti-Muslim videos posted by one of the leaders of a small, right-wing extremist party called Britain First.
The White House insisted the rich asshole knew nothing about the party or its leader Jayda Fransen when he shared the inflammatory videos, and Johnson said his intentions were simply misunderstood.
“I think a lot of that stuff was probably misinterpreted,” Johnson told the BBC. “The way I look at it, and the way he looks at this, is security is his number one oath. It’s protecting Americans here and the US.”
That’s basically what White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said about the videos.
“Is he going to be perfect and appeasing everybody?” Johnson said. “He wants to protect Americans and he’s doing his best to do that. He’s not going to go down the path of a lot of politicians and maybe be namby-pamby about it. He’s probably going to take some chances, and an effort to achieve that security goal may be that he’ll ruffle some feathers.”
“Lightweight Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, a total flunky for Charles E. Schumer and someone who would come to my office 'begging' for campaign contributions not so long ago (and would do anything for them), is now in the ring fighting against the rich asshole,” the president wrote. “Very disloyal to Bill & Crooked-USED!”
The tweet came as the rich asshole is already facing negative publicity from renewed allegations from three women who had previously accused him of sexual harassment, which are coming amid the #MeToo movement that is roiling the nation and forcing powerful men accused of sexual misbehavior from their posts.
The president ignored a reporter's question about the tweet after he signed a defense authorization bill shortly after noon.
The backlash and criticism was near instantaneous, with Gillibrand replying directly to the rich asshole on Twitter. “You cannot silence me or the millions of women who have gotten off the sidelines to speak out about the unfitness and shame you have brought to the Oval Office,” she wrote.
At a news conference later on an unrelated issue, Gillibrand called the rich asshole’s tweet “a sexist smear attempting to silence my voice.”
“I will not be silent on this issue, neither will women who stood up to the president yesterday and neither will the millions of women who have been marching since the Women’s March to stand up against policies they do not agree with,” she added.
Gillibrand once again called on GOP congressional leaders to launch investigations into the allegations made by women against the rich asshole, saying, “It’s the right thing to do, and these allegations should be investigated. They should be investigated thoroughly. That is the right thing to do, and I’m urging them to do that — as should their constituents.”
Asked about her interactions with the president, Gillibrand told reporters that the rich asshole was “just a supporter — a supporter of my first campaign.”
Several female senators also rallied around Gillibrand, including Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), who pointedly asked the rich asshole on Twitter whether he was trying to “bully, intimidate and slut-shame” Gillibrand.
“Do you know who you're picking a fight with?” Warren said. “Good luck with that, @realDonaldTrump.”
Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.) also weighed in on Twitter, writing that there is “nobody tougher than @SenGillibrand & she won’t be intimidated. Women will continue to speak up.”
Gillibrand was attending a bipartisan Bible study Tuesday morning when the rich asshole's tweet landed, and her phone was immediately filled with supportive and befuddled messages, wondering just what the president was thinking, a Gillibrand aide said.
Gretchen Carlson, the former Fox News personality whose lawsuit against Roger Ailes for sexual harassment led to the resignation of the late network chairman, also weighed in with a duo of tweets defending Gillibrand.
“What do u mean @SenGillibrand would 'do anything' for campaign contributions? By the way she isn’t a lightweight,” she wrote. In a second tweet, Carlson continued: “Sexual harassment is apolitical. Women will not be silenced no matter what party they are in. Period.”
Katty Kay, an anchor for BBC World News America, also took to social media to respond to the president's missive against Gillibrand, casting it in tweets as “clearly sexual” and “demeaning to women.”
“What is so maddening about the Gillibrand tweet is that women can be smart, work hard, become Senator and STILL get sexual c**p thrown at us,” she wrote. “Enough.”
the rich asshole offered no evidence to support his wink-and-nod claim that Gillibrand had gone to him “begging” for campaign donations “and would do anything for them.” In fact, according to Open Secrets, a nonprofit website that tracks campaign contributions, since 1996, the rich asshole has donated $8,900 to Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer (D-N.Y.) and $5,850 to Gillibrand.
Gillibrand met with the rich asshole once in 2010, the Gillibrand aide said, and the rich asshole's oldest daughter, Ivanka, who has tried to cast herself as a champion of women, attended the meeting,
On Monday, Gillibrand, a leading voice in Congress for combating sexual assault in the military, became the fifth Democratic senator to call on the rich asshole to step down because of the allegations of sexual misconduct against him — accusations the president has denied and the White House dismissed again on Monday.
“President the rich asshole has committed assault, according to these women, and those are very credible allegations of misconduct and criminal activity, and he should be fully investigated and he should resign,” Gillibrand said on CNN. “These allegations are credible; they are numerous. I've heard these women's testimony, and many of them are heartbreaking.”
She joined Sens. Cory Booker (D-N.J.), Jeff Merkley (D-Ore.), Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) and Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) in calling for the rich asshole's resignation.
the rich asshole has not commented on the male senators' demand that he resign.
On Tuesday, a sixth senator — Democrat Mazie Hirono of Hawaii — called on the rich asshole to resign, citing his morning tweet targeting Gillibrand.
“@realDonaldTrump is a misogynist, compulsive liar, and admitted sexual predator,” she said. “Attacks on Kirsten are the latest example that no one is safe from this bully. He must resign.”
Gillibrand, New York's junior senator and a rising political star, is widely considered a likely 2020 presidential candidate against the rich asshole, and the president's Twitter assault Tuesday offered an early glimpse of just how vicious the next race for the White House could become.
Brian Fallon, a spokesman for Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign, called the rich asshole's tweet “disgusting” but also noted, “It will make the Gillibrand folks ecstatic,” implying that the sparring with the rich asshole would raise her profile.
Gillibrand, however, does have her critics. After she said in November that Bill Clinton should have resigned as president following his inappropriate affair with White House intern Monica Lewinsky, longtime Hillary Clinton adviser and confidant Philippe Reines excoriated her on Twitter for being ungrateful and two-faced.
“Senate voted to keep POTUS WJC. But not enough for you @SenGillibrand? Over 20 yrs you took the Clintons’ endorsements, money, and seat. Hypocrite. Interesting strategy for 2020 primaries. Best of luck,” Reines wrote.
The White House did not respond to a request for comment about why the president sent the tweet, or what exactly he was insinuating.
John Wagner, Ed O'Keefe and Joshua Dawsey contributed to this report.

Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) joined four other senators to call on the rich asshole to resign over the allegations, which stretch back over the past four decades.
The president denounced the claims as “fake news” in a Tuesday morning tweet, insisting he’d never even met his accusers, and then seemed to sexually harass Gillibrand in a subsequent tweet.
“Lightweight Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, a total flunky for Chuck Schumer and someone who would come to my office ‘begging’ for campaign contributions not so long ago (and would do anything for them), is now in the ring fighting against the rich asshole,” the rich asshole tweeted. “Very disloyal to Bill & Crooked-USED!”
the rich asshole gave $4,800 to Gillibrand’s campaign in September 2010, when he also contributed $10,000 to the Democratic Committee of New York State.

the rich asshole ‘infuriated’ at Nikki Haley for supporting his accusers’ right to speak on sexual misconduct: report

President some rich asshole is reportedly “infuriated” with United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley after she said that women accusing him of sexual misconduct had a right to be heard.
During an interview on Face the Nation over the weekend, Haley said that she was “proud” of women who have spoken out about sexual harassment across the country in recent months. And the ambassador did not cut her boss a break when it came to allegations that he had groped, kissed and sexually harassed multiple women.
“I think we heard from them prior to the election. And I think any woman who has felt violated or felt mistreated in any way, they have every right to speak up,” Haley said.
The Associated Press reported on Tuesday that Haley’s remarks did not go unnoticed by the president.
Haley’s comments infuriated the president, according to two people who are familiar with his views but who spoke on condition of anonymity because they aren’t authorized to speak publicly about private conversations. the rich asshole has grown increasingly angry in recent days that the accusations against him have resurfaced, telling associates that the charges are false and drawing parallels to the accusations facing Republican Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore.Sixteen women have come forward with a range of accusations against the rich asshole, many after the release of the “Access Hollywood” tape last October in which the rich asshole was caught on an open microphone bragging about groping women. One woman, Summer Zevos, a contestant on the rich asshole’s reality show, “The Apprentice,” sued, contending that the rich asshole’s denials of her accusations amount to false and defamatory statements.
For his part, the rich asshole has denied all of the allegations. In a Tweet on Tuesday, he attacked Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand after she called for him to step down over charges of sexual misconduct.
House Democratic women pursue investigation of the rich asshole’s sexual misconduct accusations

More than 50 female Democratic lawmakers in the U.S. House of Representatives called on Monday for a congressional investigation into allegations by various women of sexual misconduct against President some rich asshole, who has denied the accusations.
“We cannot ignore the multitude of women who have come forward with accusations against some rich asshole,” the lawmakers wrote in their letter, though a formal inquiry was unlikely to result because Republicans control the agenda in Congress.
The letter, spearheaded by the Democratic women’s working group, which is composed of all the party’s female members in the House, was signed by 56 lawmakers. It followed a call earlier on Monday by three women who have accused the rich asshole of sexual misconduct for a congressional investigation into his behavior.
The lawmakers’ request for a probe was sent to leaders of the Oversight and Government Reform Committee, the main investigative committee in the House.
Over the past two years, more than a dozen women have accused the rich asshole of making unwanted sexual advances against them in the years before he entered politics. Monday’s letter from the Democrats said there were at least 17 accusers and listed names.
“The president’s own remarks appear to back up the allegations,” the letter said, saying the rich asshole had boasted “that he feels at liberty to perpetrate such conduct against women.”
“The president should be allowed to present evidence in his own defense,” said the lawmakers.
The letter was addressed to oversight panel Chairman Trey Gowdy, a Republican, and top Democrat Elijah Cummings.
the rich asshole last year apologized for talking about groping women in a 2005 tape recording that surfaced weeks before the presidential election, and said he had not done the things he talked about.
More recently, the rich asshole has told allies that the voice on the recording was not his, The New York Times reported recently.
the rich asshole and White House officials have denied the sexual misconduct allegations against him, some of which date back to the 1980s.
“These false claims, totally disputed in most cases by eyewitness accounts, were addressed at length during last year’s campaign, and the American people voiced their judgment by delivering a decisive victory,” a White House spokesperson said in a statement on Monday.

After President some rich asshole attacked Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY), the women of “The View” noted that his phrasing was downright “infantile.”
“Whoa,” co-host Joy Behar said after Whoopi Goldberg read the rich asshole’s tweetaloud. Members of the audience could be heard saying “wow” after the tweet appeared on the screen behind the women.
“What is that tweet implying, may I ask?” Behar requested. “What do you think? Is it sexual favors?”
Sara Haines noted that the language used was obviously loaded, but “it’s a little ironic in a sexual harassment conversation to use that.”
“I think it’s disgusting!” Sunny Hostin exclaimed. “I mean, if my 15-year-old tweeted that out about one of his classmates, his phone would be snatched. He would be in so much trouble at home. And we’ve got the United States president doing that? I’m like, it’s so — it’s so beneath the dignity of the office. It’s so infantile.”
Goldberg harkened back to Roy Moore, saying that she hopes the Ethics Committee investigates him but also that they should investigate the rich asshole.
Meghan McCain noted that yesterday she came home and turned on the news only to see coverage of the rich asshole’s tweets and the fight between press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders and the press.
“And I’m like, there was a terror attack in New York today!” McCain said.
“And wildfires in California!” Behar chimed in.
“Why aren’t we talking about those?” McCain replied.

A number of the rich asshole’s critics immediately found his tweet itself a form of harassment and took it as suggestive innuendo about a female. Mika Brzezinski said on “Morning Joe” that it was “derogatory and disgusting.” Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) wrote on Twitter, “Are you really trying to bully, intimidate and slut-shame @SenGillibrand? Do you know who you’re picking a fight with? Good luck with that, @realDonaldTrump. Nevertheless, #shepersisted.”
Gillibrand responded by writing on Twitter, “You cannot silence me or the millions of women who have gotten off the sidelines to speak out about the unfitness and shame you have brought to the Oval Office.”
Gillibrand, often mentioned as a 2020 presidential prospect, has been one of the leading voices on Capitol Hill in speaking out against sexual harassment and sexual misconduct. Last week, she was the first of Democrats in Congress to call for the resignation of Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.), who was facing claims of unwanted sexual advances and groping. A cascade of senators followed Gillibrand in calling for Franken to step down. A day later, he announced that he would leave the Senate within weeks.
On Monday, three women who accused the rich asshole of inappropriate behavior and sexual harassment reiterated claims they made during the campaign. It was part of a promotional tour for a new video short, “16 Women and some rich asshole,” that highlights 16 women who accuse the rich asshole of sexual impropriety. He denies the claims.
Federal Election Commission records show that the rich asshole gave Gillibrand $1,050 in 2007, when she was a member of the House of Representatives, and $4,800 in 2010, after she was appointed to the Senate.

President the rich asshole named a U.S. Ambassador to the Czech Republic who not only participated in the cover-up of Watergate but beat, drugged and kidnapped the wife Nixon’s Campaign Chairman to keep her from informing the public about the true nature of the break-in before voting. It’s a disgusting tale of white male privilege, police officers breaking the law and retaliation against a woman who spoke truth to power.
Congress rubber-stamped President the rich asshole’s appointment Stephen “Steve” King based on his high-level Republican connections to Republican House Speaker Paul Ryan and his business partnership with Ryan’s brother and the rich asshole’s inner circle. (He is not the author of the same name.)
It turns out that King, a 76-year-old former FBI agent, infamously worked as security for disgraced former GOP President Richard Nixon’s CREEP (Committee to Re-Elect the President), where he participated in the primary cover-up of Watergate by beating up Martha Mitchell. Newsweek reports:
[Stephen] King played a crucial role in the 1972 Watergate affair—and not a good one. According to several accounts over the years, King helped cover up ties between President Richard Nixon’s re-election campaign and the burglars arrested inside the Democratic Party headquarters at the Watergate complex—and in a particularly violent fashion. None of that came up during his confirmation hearing.
His duty on the week of the break-in was to protect—and keep a close eye on—Martha Mitchell, the talkative wife of Nixon’s campaign director and former attorney general John Mitchell, while the Mitchells were on a campaign swing in California… When she learned that James McCord, the security director of CREEP, who had served as her bodyguard, was among those arrested at the Watergate—and described by her husband as a private security contractor who was “not operating either on our behalf or with our consent”—she picked up the telephone and called a favorite reporter, UPI’s Helen Thomas.
Enter King. He “rushed into her bedroom, threw her back across the bed, and ripped the telephone out of the wall,” wrote veteran Washington reporter Winzola McLendon in her 1979 biography of Martha Mitchell, to whom she was close. But Thomas was still on the phone and taking notes. “The conversation ended abruptly when it appeared someone took away the phone from her hand,” Thomas reported. “She was heard to say, ‘You just get away.’”
In other words, the rich asshole’s new Ambassador Steve King stepped in for CREEP; he unplugged the phone while Martha Mitchell spoke with the UPI’s legendary reporter Helen Thomas, and proceeded to beat up the Campaign Chairman’s wife!
Amazingly, Steve King managed to completely evade justice for his brutal crimes against Martha Mitchell.
If that wasn’t bad enough, America’s new Czech Ambassador also has literally no diplomatic experience in the post to which he’s been assigned since December 7th.
Years later, Mitchell told a magazine that King had summoned a doctor to administer a tranquilizing shot, before ordering her hotel to hold all phone calls while Nixon’s Chief of Staff diabolically spread disinformation to discredit Mitchell in the press as part of the coverup.
Is it any wonder that women were afraid to speak out against men who abused them in the 1970s?
Eventually, convicted Watergate burglar James McCord confirmed King’s role in kidnapping Martha Mitchell in 1975, calling her a “political prisoner.” The Times reported her reaction as:
“Thank God somebody is coming to my assistance. I was not only kidnapped but I was threatened at gun point, and you can put that in,” she said in a telephone conversation.
Before there was a #Metoo movement, Republicans discredited a famous battered woman to cover up the Watergate scandal and some rich asshole just installed Nixon’s most brutal goon as an American Ambassador.
Ultimately, Richard Nixon himself admitted that without Martha Mitchell there would not have been a Watergate.
It’s bad enough that Steve King used a combination of white privilege, police brutality, and Republican political connections to break the law and get away with being one of Nixon’s Watergate enforcers, but it’s unconscionable to send him overseas to represent America.
President the rich asshole needs to immediately recall America’s Ambassador to the Czech Republic, demand King’s resignation and appoint someone qualified who isn’t an unindicted Watergate co-conspirator or any other form of criminal.
But nobody should expect our shameless President – best known for bragging about sexual assault – to do anything about the political kidnapper he just sent to Europe to represent our nation.
After all, the rich asshole’s disgraced National Security Advisor – and newly convicted felon – has also been accused of formulating a kidnapping plot from the White House.
Watch the late Helen Thomas tell about the unlikely source of the first news story about the Watergate coverup:
Two things happened on Monday morning: An "attempted terrorist attack" in New York City and the rich asshole tweet shortly afterwards. The two events, to the disappointment of many on Twitter, are completely unrelated.
"We're all ok in NYC thanks for asking!" wrote The Daily Show, sarcastically retweeting the rich asshole's morning message. The show films in New York City.
the rich asshole instead tweeted about a New York Times report from the weekend that alleged he watches between four and eight hours of T.V. per day.
Some—like former advisor to Barack Obama, Dan Pfieffer—pointed out that the Times story, from Saturday, may have caught the rich asshole's attention on Monday morning because it was being talked about on T.V.
Others were less interested in irony and more interested in the lack of tact (or whatever you call tweeting about television instead of a terrorist attack in your hometown).
the rich asshole will probably tweet about the attack later today. The suspect was reportedly one of four hurt in the attempted bombing, when "some sort of pipe bomb or other type of improvised explosive device... either went off prematurely or only partially detonated."
According to Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the rich asshole's been briefed on the incident:
So we know he didn't just miss the news because he doesn't watch T.V.
the rich asshole says Sen. Gillibrand 'would do anything' for campaign cash after she calls for his resignation
12-12-17
President the rich asshole lashed out Tuesday at Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., who is calling for his resignation over the multiple allegations of sexual assault against him. And the rich asshole did so in a suggestive tweet that critics say demeans women.
“Lightweight Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, a total flunky for Chuck Schumer and someone who would come to my office ‘begging’ for campaign contributions not so long ago (and would do anything for them), is now in the ring fighting against the rich asshole,” the president wrote on Twitter. “Very disloyal to Bill & Crooked-USED!”
“The insinuation in this tweet is clearly sexual and it’s demeaning to women,” BBC News anchor Katty Kay remarked.
Gillibrand responded in a tweet of her own.
“You cannot silence me or the millions of women who have gotten off the sidelines to speak out about the unfitness and shame you have brought to the Oval Office,” she tweeted.
Gillibrand is one of at least 56 female lawmakers — all Democrats — calling for a congressional investigation into the allegations against the rich asshole. On Monday, Gillibrand took it a step further, saying the rich asshole should resign.
“President the rich asshole has committed assault, according to these women, and those are very credible allegations of misconduct and criminal activity, and he should be fully investigated and he should resign,” Gillibrand told CNN’s Christiane Amanpour. “These allegations are credible; they are numerous. I’ve heard these women’s testimony, and many of them are heartbreaking.”
Three of Gillibrand’s male colleagues — Sens. Cory Booker, D-N.J., Ron Wyden, D-Ore., and Jeff Merkley, D-Ore. — joined her in calling for the rich asshole’s resignation.
During the 2016 presidential campaign, more than a dozen women came forward, accusing the real estate mogul and former reality television star of sexual misconduct. the rich asshole fiercely denied their claims, many of which emerged after the 2005 “Access Hollywood” tape was made public in October 2016. In the infamous tape, the rich asshole boasted that his celebrity status allowed him to forcibly kiss and grope women.
the rich asshole again denied the accusations on Tuesday.
“Despite thousands of hours wasted and many millions of dollars spent, the Democrats have been unable to show any collusion with Russia — so now they are moving on to the false accusations and fabricated stories of women who I don’t know and/or have never met,” the rich asshole tweeted. “FAKE NEWS!”
Earlier Monday, three of the women who accused the rich asshole during the campaign repeated their claims on Megyn Kelly’s morning NBC show and later at a news conference.
Samantha Holvey, a former Miss USA contestant who says the rich asshole personally inspected her and other women prior backstage to the 2006 pageant, said the so-called #MeToo movement spurred them to come forward again.
“It was heartbreaking last year. We are private citizens,” Holvey told Kelly. “And for us to put ourselves out there, to try to show America who this man is, and especially how he views women, for them to say, ‘meh, we don’t care,’ it hurt. And so, now it’s just, like, all right, let’s try round two; the environment is different, let’s try again.”
the rich asshole Responds to NYC Bombing by Complaining That the New York Times Says He Watches Too Much TV
On Monday morning, several injuries were reported after an explosive device went off in New York City’s Port Authority bus terminal; the device was apparently strapped to a 27-year-old man who is now in custody. The incident is being considered an attempted terror attack, and the president responded swiftly by … uh …
Indeed, it appears that POTUS is ignoring today’s national security news because he is fuming about a weekend New York Times story that reported that his primary occupation as president is reading and responding to the little headlines that scroll along the bottom of cable news programs.
As the National Journal’s Josh Kraushaar pointed out, the rich asshole may have had the Times story on the brain because he was … watching cable news:
Of course, whining about Don Lemon is preferable to the president’s usual methods of responding to terror attacks, namely spreading urban legends and gloating about the validation of his complaints about Muslims.
