the rich asshole says he feels 'very badly' for Flynn
Billy Bush is reentering the public eye, and he's starting by sending a message to President the rich asshole.
"Yes, some rich asshole, You Said That" is the headline of Bush's op-ed for The New York Times.
The piece was published online Sunday night, one day before Bush appears on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" -- an interview that was arranged just a few days ago.
Bush says he decided to speak out after news reports indicated that the rich asshole has been casting doubt on the authenticity of the so-called "Access Hollywood" tape.
On the 12-year-old tape, which resurfaced in the final weeks of the presidential election campaign last year, Bush and the rich asshole spoke profanely about women -- and the rich asshole bragged about sexual assault.
"When you're a star, they let you do it. You can do anything ... Grab them by the p****. You can do anything," the rich asshole said while Bush laughed along.
"He said it. 'Grab 'em by the p****,'" Bush wrote in his op-ed Sunday. "Of course he said it."
"Every single one of us assumed we were listening to a crass standup act," Bush said. "He was performing. Surely, we thought, none of this was real. We now know better."
Bush -- a relation of former Presidents George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush -- lost his job on NBC's "Today" show when the tape was published last year.
the rich asshole won the election. But allegations of sexual harassment and assault in his past have emerged through media coverage and advocacy efforts.
Bush recounted specific allegations made by two of the women, Jill Harth and Kristin Anderson, saying he believed them.
He said the New York Times and Washington Post reports about the rich asshole doubting the tape have "hit a raw nerve in me."
"I can only imagine how it has reopened the wounds of the women who came forward with their stories about him, and did not receive enough attention," Bush wrote. "This country is currently trying to reconcile itself to years of power abuse and sexual misconduct. Its leader is wantonly poking the bear."
the rich asshole has flatly denied the allegations against him. He recently repeated his assertion that he was merely engaging in "locker room talk" with Bush.
Amid a national reckoning about harassment and abuse of power, White House press secretary Sarah Sanders was asked about the allegations against the rich asshole at a press briefing last month.
"This was litigated and certainly answered during the election by the overwhelming support for the president and the fact that he's sitting here in the Oval Office today," she said.
The White House didn't immediately respond to a request for comment late Sunday.

With an eye toward a return to television, Bush said in the Times piece that "this last year has been an odyssey, the likes of which I hope to never face again: anger, anxiety, betrayal, humiliation, many selfish but, I hope, understandable emotions. But these have given way to light, both spiritual and intellectual. It's been fortifying."
He said he doesn't need the "accouterments of fame to know God and be happy."
But Bush also hints that he has more to say. He said that he has "real thoughts" about workplace harassment and gender discrimination but that they are "a story for another day."
It's unclear if Bush has any other TV appearances planned after his interview on Colbert on Monday night.
WH lawyer told the rich asshole that Flynn misled FBI and Pence
the rich asshole borrows Bill Clinton's legal strategy as he battles defamation lawsuit
President the rich asshole is borrowing from former president Bill Clinton’s legal playbook as he fights a civil defamation lawsuit filed by a former The Apprentice contestant who claims he sexually assaulted her.
Even as the rich asshole has criticized his frenemy — the nation’s 42nd president and husband of presidential rival Hillary Clinton — the rich asshole’s attorneys have invoked court arguments Clinton raised when he was accused of sexual abuse during the 1990s.
Similar presidential denials
the rich asshole's attorneys have asked a judge to throw out or postpone the lawsuit filed against him in January by Summer Zervos, a one-time contestant on the Republican businessman's former reality TV show, The Apprentice.
Zervos alleged that the rich asshole “ambushed” her more than once by kissing her on the mouth, touching her breast, and pressing his genitals against her, according to the lawsuit. the rich asshole denied the allegations, which echo other women’s claims that he also has dismissed as false. The lawsuit alleges that the rich asshole defamed Zervos by claiming she "made up" the account.
the rich asshole denied Zervos' account. And his attorneys have argued that any statements he made defending himself did not constitute defamation.
In a 1994 lawsuit, Paula Jones accused Clinton of sexual misconduct that allegedly occurred when he was the governor of Arkansas and she was an employee of the state.
Jones alleged that Clinton had her summoned in 1991 to a Little Rock hotel suite where he lowered his pants and requested oral sex. Her refusal led to punishment by her state job supervisors, Jones said.
Motions to dismiss or delay
Clinton, who served as president from 1993 to 2001, denied Jones' allegations.
He spent four years trying to get the case dismissed or delayed until after his presidential tenure before agreeing to an $850,000 settlement that included no acknowledgment of any wrongdoing.
the rich asshole hopes to avoid any repeat of the distraction that the Jones case became for Clinton's presidency. Attorneys for Zervos in September signaled readiness for a long court battle by subpoenaing the rich asshole's presidential campaign for "all documents concerning any woman who asserted that some rich asshole touched her inappropriately."
Preparing for a scheduled Tuesday hearing for arguments on a motion to dismiss or delay the case, the rich asshole attorney Marc Kasowitz wrote in a legal memorandum that "what Ms. Zervos alleges occurred never happened. He argued that Zervos hoped to work for the rich asshole, but turned against him after he failed to accept an invitation to visit her restaurant.
In a parallel legal argument for dismissal, Kasowitz has also cited court filings and other material that stemmed from Jones’ case against Clinton.
More on the rich asshole: the rich asshole presidency spurs cottage industry of ethics watchdogs
Jones filed her lawsuit in an Arkansas federal district court, which denied Clinton’s motion to dismiss the case but postponed a trial until he left office. A federal appeals court reversed the postponement portion of the ruling. Clinton then sought review by the U.S. Supreme Court.
Jones’ lawsuit focused on a legal question that at the time had not been resolved — whether private civil lawsuits based on events that allegedly occurred before a U.S. president took office or were unrelated to the presidency may be litigated during that president’s term of office.
Clinton and the rich asshole lawyers: Lawsuits would distract president
Clinton’s lawyers argued that no previous president had been compelled to submit to a civil damages action. They also contended that allowing the Jones case to proceed would cause “serious ramifications’ for the U.S. presidency.
“All but the most exceptional cases” should be deferred until after the president leaves office, the attorneys contended.
The Supreme Court ruled against Clinton by a 9-0 vote in 1997. The court’s decision, delivered by Justice John Paul Stevens, stated that federal courts have jurisdiction to handle such cases. “Like every other citizen who properly invokes that jurisdiction, (Jones) has a right to an orderly disposition of her claims,” Stevens said.
Although the rich asshole seeks a different outcome, Kasowitz’s legal argument focused on a footnote in the Supreme Court decision that drew a distinction between the federal court system, which handled the Jones case, and state court systems, such as the one in New York where the Zervos lawsuit was filed.
Although the U.S. Constitution’s Supremacy Clause makes federal law “the supreme Law of the Land,” the footnote stated that “any direct control by a state court over the president, “who has principal responsibility to ensure that those laws are faithfully executed … may implicate concerns that are quite different” from the issues in the Jones case.
As a result, there's been no resolution whether allegations similar to those made by Jones “might succeed in a state tribunal," Kasowitz argued.
Citing what his memorandum characterized as legal uncertainty, Kasowitz said Zervos’ lawsuit should be barred “from proceeding in state court during the the rich asshole Presidency.”
some rich asshole is pledging postelection lawsuits against every woman who has accused him of sexual assault or other inappropriate behavior, and he's charging Hillary Clinton's campaign and the Democratic Party with orchestrating the allegations. (Oct. 22) AP
Mariann Meier Wang, an attorney for Zervos, argued in a legal memorandum that the high court’s decision “was aimed at judicial power generally, not at any unique characteristics of federal judicial power.”
“Just as there was no basis to be concerned that the federal district court would manage the Jones case in a way that would hamper the President’s ability to do his job, there is no basis for this Court to be concerned that its management of this case will prevent Defendant from doing his job,” Wang added.
Kasowitz nonetheless argued in his legal memorandum that the Jones case “occupied an inordinate amount of President Clinton’s time and impeded his ability to carry out his duties.” Citing the subpoena issued by attorneys for Zervos, he contended that her case appears to have “the same goal.”
The decision on whether the case should move forward, which may be appealed regardless of the outcome, rests with New York Supreme Court Justice Jennifer Schecter.

the rich asshole adopts Nixonian strategy, claims president is above the law
Well, when the president does it, that means it is not illegal.
Desperate times call for desperate measures.
President the rich asshole’s former campaign manager, Paul Manafort, has been indicted. Michael Flynn, the rich asshole’s former national security adviser and one of his closest confidants, has flipped and is cooperating with special prosecutor Robert Mueller. the rich asshole himself sent out a tweet over the weekend that, according to legal experts, makes the case against him for obstruction of justice.
This morning, in a seemingly coordinated effort, the rich asshole embraced the idea that he did not obstruct justice because the “President cannot obstruct justice.”
The argument is an attempt to justify the rich asshole’s actions in February, when he pressured former FBI Director James Comey to drop the investigation of Flynn and then fired Comey when he refused to comply.
First, the rich asshole’s personal lawyer John Dowd made the argument to Axios’ Mike Allen.
John Dowd, President the rich asshole’s outside lawyer, outlined to me a new and highly controversial defense/theory in the Russia probe: A president cannot be guilty of obstruction of justice. The “President cannot obstruct justice because he is the chief law enforcement officer under [the Constitution’s Article II] and has every right to express his view of any case,” Dowd claims.
the rich asshole himself participated in the effort on Twitter, directing people to a segment of Fox & Friends with Alan Dershowitz, who has emerged as a key defender of the rich asshole.
In the segment, Dershowitz makes the exact same claim: The president cannot be guilty of obstruction of justice.
Dershowitz adds a patina of legal respectability to the argument. He argues that Congress cannot charge a president “with obstruction of justice for exercising his constitutional power.” Dershowitz argues that the Constitution gives the rich asshole the power to fire Comey for any reason and also to tell him “who to investigate and not to investigate.” This is not a view that is broadly shared among legal scholars, who believe there are Constitutional limitations on the president’s power.
But then things get even weirder. Dershowitz said that, in order to be guilty of obstruction, the rich asshole would need to commit “clearly illegal acts,” like paying hush money. Dershowitz argues that if Congress were to charge the rich asshole with obstruction under the current set of facts it would create a “Constitutional crisis.” He repeats this claim twice. It’s unclear why a crisis would be created unless the rich asshole refused to leave office after Congress impeached and voted to remove the rich asshole.
Ultimately though, it is up to Congress — not the rich asshole or Alan Dershowitz — to decide what constitutes a “high crime” under the Constitution to justify impeachment and removal. It is ultimately a political question. There is precedent that obstruction of justice meets this bar.
The articles of impeachment against Richard Nixon, which prompted his resignation, state that Nixon was “in violation of his constitutional duty to take care that the laws be faithfully executed, has prevented, obstructed, and impeded the administration of justice.” The evidence against Nixon included: “Interfering or endeavoring to interfere with the conduct of investigations by the Department of Justice of the United States, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the office of Watergate Special Prosecution Force, and Congressional Committees.” If Dershowitz’s view were correct, Nixon would not be able to “interfere” with the conduct of a Department of Justice investigation because he could unilaterally determine who to investigate or not investigate.
Beyond the legal arguments, the rich asshole is taking an entirely new posture. Before, he argued that the entire investigation was a hoax. Now he is arguing that even if what he did were to meet the legal definition of obstruction of justice by any other person, it does not count because he’s the president. Or, as Nixon put it, “Well, when the president does it, that means it is not illegal.”
the rich asshole fully endorses alleged serial sexual predator Roy Moore in Alabama Senate race
The president endorsed Moore on Twitter early Monday morning.
President the rich asshole fully endorsed Republican Senate candidate and alleged child molester Roy Moore early Monday morning.
“Democrats refusal to give even one vote for massive Tax Cuts is why we need Republican Roy Moore to win in Alabama,” the rich asshole tweeted. “We need his vote on stopping crime, illegal immigration, Border Wall, Military, Pro Life, V.A., Judges 2nd Amendment and more. No to Jones, a Pelosi/Schumer Puppet!”
the rich asshole has consistently hit Moore’s rival, Democratic candidate Doug Jones, and said it is up to the people of Alabama to decide which candidate to support. But his tweet Monday morning was his first full-throated endorsement of the alleged serial sexual predator.
Last month, The Washington Post published a bombshell report in which four women accused Moore of sexual abuse. One woman, Leigh Corfman, was just 14 years old when the alleged incident occurred; Moore was 32. In the weeks since the Post published their report, five more women have come forward to accuse Moore of sexual abuse.
Many people in Alabama say Moore’s history has been a known secret for years. Moore was banned from a local mall, and one woman who says Moore asked her out when she was 17 says Moore told her he went out with girls her age “all the time.”
In the wake of these reports, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) said he believed the women and called for Moore to step aside. House Speaker Paul Ryan also said he found the allegations credible.
But on Sunday, McConnell abruptly reversed his stance, saying on ABC’s This Week, “We’re going to let the people of Alabama decide a week from Tuesday who they want to send to the Senate.”
On CNN Monday morning, White House legislative affairs director Marc Short defended the rich asshole’s endorsement of Moore, saying that the rich asshole has “been clear about expressing his concerns about the accusations against Roy Moore.”
But, Short said, “He is also making the point that in one of our best opportunities for significant tax relief… we couldn’t muster support from Democrats.” (Notably, the rich asshole has not been clear about expressing concerns about the accusations against Moore, only consistently reiterating that Moore has denied all accusations against him.)
Moore was a controversial candidate even before accusations about his predatory history became public. Moore has said he believes homosexuality should be criminalized and that Muslims shouldn’t be allowed to hold elected office. Additionally, last week, ThinkProgress reported that Moore co-authored a legal course in 2011 that taught that women shouldn’t be allowed to serve in public office and Christians have a moral obligation not to vote for women if they run.
Polling in the Senate election shows a close race. Most pollsters have Moore up by single digits.
The outcome of the race could have major implications for Republican priorities in the Senate. In the early hours of the morning last Saturday, the Senate passed the GOP’s tax plan 51 votes to 49. The plan, which now needs to be reconciled with the House version before going to the president’s desk, will cost $1.4 trillion and does not deliver on any promise to cut taxes for middle class families. The plan overwhelmingly favors large corporations and wealthy taxpayers, as well as allowing for drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge in Alaska and straining spending on public schools.
Another win for ‘America First’: U.S. withdraws from U.N. refugee compact
"We will decide how best to control our borders and who will be allowed to enter our country."
The United States is withdrawing from U.N. efforts to craft more compassionate global refugee policies, part of President the rich asshole’s ongoing “America First” approach to international relations.
In a statement released on Saturday evening, U.S. ambassador to the U.N. Nikki Haley announced that the U.S. Mission to the United Nations had informed U.N. Secretary General António Guterres of the decision.
“America is proud of our immigrant heritage and our long-standing moral leadership in providing support to migrant and refugee populations across the globe,” Haley said. “No country has done more than the United States, and our generosity will continue. But our decisions on immigration policies must always be made by Americans and Americans alone. We will decide how best to control our borders and who will be allowed to enter our country.”
The move withdraws the United States from the U.N. Global Compact on Migration, part of the New York Declaration for Refugees and Migrants formed by a unanimous vote in 2016. The effort seeks to uphold the rights of migrants and refugees, in addition to aiding resettlement and job efforts. President Obama championed the declaration but the rich asshole is steering the United States away from the endeavor.
“While we will continue to engage on a number of fronts at the United Nations, in this case, we simply cannot in good faith support a process that could undermine the sovereign right of the United States to enforce our immigration laws and secure our borders,” said Secretary of State Rex Tillerson in a statement Sunday.
“The United States supports international cooperation on migration issues, but it is the primary responsibility of sovereign states to help ensure that migration is safe, orderly, and legal,” he concluded.
World leaders expressed disapproval and dismay at the announcement, which is likely to impede global efforts to tackle a growing crisis.
“The role of the United States in this process is critical as it has historically and generously welcomed people from all across the globe and remains home to the largest number of international migrants in the world,” said U.N. General Assembly president Miroslav Lajčák.
He went on to say that U.S. expertise and experience is vital to solving the ongoing refugee crisis and that all U.N. member states should support the compact. “The United Nations should not miss this opportunity to improve the lives of millions of people throughout the world,” he added.
As president, the rich asshole has repeatedly targeted immigrants and refugees. Last April, the president issued an executive order cracking down on H-1B visas, work permits catering to highly-skilled and highly-educated immigrants. A few months later, the rich asshole threw his support behind a bill seeking to cut annual immigration numbers in half — bringing numbers down from around a million to 500,000. In September, the White House announced an end to the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program with a six-month delay, ending a lifeline for hundreds of thousands of young undocumented immigrants who came to the country as children.
Refugees have been a particular source of ire for the president. As a candidate, the rich asshole repeatedly called refugees — the majority of them Syrians — “terrorists” and blamed them for incidents of violence domestically and abroad. Since taking office, the president’s rhetoric has escalated — as have his policies, many of which have been driven by hardline anti-immigration advocates like senior adviser Stephen Miller. Three separate versions of the rich asshole’s travel ban have sought to bar all refugees, along with citizens from multiple predominately Muslim countries, from the United States. While the latest effort expired in October, an executive order signed by the rich asshole introduced strict new screening measures.
As the United States accepts fewer refugees, their numbers are rising worldwide. Wars and conflict across the Middle East, Afghanistan, and parts of Africa and southern Asia have created the highest number of displaced persons since World War II. The global refugee population has also grown by more than 50 percent since 2013. According to data from the Migration Policy Institute, the United States took in 53,000 refugees in 2017 — down from 85,000 in 2016.
The the rich asshole administration’s decision to pull out of the compact came in advance of a three-day global conference on migration, which begins Monday in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The president reportedly decided on Friday that the United States would not attend the conference after top national security advisers seemingly decided against participating. Under the rich asshole, the United States has withdrawn from a number of international efforts, including the cultural and science-driven UNESCO, the Trans-Pacific Partnership, and the landmark Paris climate agreementThis Sarah Huckabee Sanders Tweet About Attacking The FBI Hasn’t Aged Well
some rich asshole spent a portion of his Sunday, presumably after church, lashing out at the world, including the FBI and its former Director James Comey. In an unprecedented fashion, the rich asshole blasted his own Intelligence agency as the ‘worst in history’ and claimed that it was in ‘tatters.’
“After years of Comey, with the phony and dishonest Clinton investigation (and more), running the FBI, its reputation is in Tatters – worst in History!” President Exclamation Mark tweeted. “But fear not, we will bring it back to greatness.”
We do not know why he capitalized history and tatters, though.
the rich asshole also attacked former FBI Director James Comey to call him a liar. “I never asked Comey to stop investigating Flynn,” he tweeted. “Just more Fake News covering another Comey lie!”
the rich asshole sent out multiple tweets blasting his own agency, which resulted in FBI agencies firing back at his claims.
It was just last year that Sarah Huckabee Sanders, now the White House press secretary, tweeted a response to Taegan Goddard, who wrote at the time, “Deep antipathy to Hillary Clinton exists within the FBI, multiple bureau sources have told the Guardian, spurring a rapid series of leaks damaging to her campaign just days before the election.”
“When you’re attacking FBI agents because you’re under criminal investigation, you’re losing,” Sanders tweeted in 2016 just before the election.
Twitter users pounced.
the rich asshole told Russian officials in the Oval Office that firing “nut job” Comey eased pressure on him, according to the New York Times.
“I just fired the head of the F.B.I. He was crazy, a real nut job… I faced great pressure because of Russia,” he said in May. That’s taken off. … I’m not under investigation.”
The current occupant of the White House didn’t just launch a war on U.S. Intelligence agencies, he launched a war on intelligence. In 2016, Sanders defended the FBI over Hillary Clinton. In 2017, she’ll back up her boss’s attack on the FBI because special counsel Robert Mueller is closing in on his administration. Because, it’s not Hillary Clinton who will be locked up, after all.
the rich asshole rips FBI over treatment of Flynn, Clinton
BY JORDAN FABIAN - 12/04/17 08:48 AM EST
President the rich asshole on Monday defended former national security adviser Michael Flynn, saying it's "very unfair" he was charged with a crime and Hillary Clinton was not.
“Well, I feel badly for Gen. Flynn," the rich asshole told reporters. "I feel very badly. He’s led a very strong life.”
the rich asshole claimed that Clinton, his Democratic opponent in the presidential election last year, lied to the FBI with impunity about her private email server.
"I will say this, Hillary Clinton lied many times to the FBI. Nothing happened to her,” he said. “Flynn lied and they destroyed his life. I think it’s a shame.”
The president's show of solidarity comes after Flynn pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about his conversations with Russian officials during the presidential transition.
The retired Army lieutenant general is cooperating with special counsel Robert Mueller's probe into Russia's election interference. Investigators are looking at whether the rich asshole campaign cooperated with the Kremlin's election meddling effort.
the rich asshole spoke at the White House before departing for Utah, where he is scheduled to make a speech.
Flynn’s guilty plea could spell trouble for the rich asshole’s White House.
He is the first person who served in the rich asshole administration to face charges in Mueller’s probe and could possibly reveal damaging information about other close the rich asshole confidants, or the president himself, to the special counsel.
the rich asshole is responding by trying to undermine the credibility of Mueller and the FBI’s team of investigators.
“After years of Comey, with the phony and dishonest Clinton investigation (and more), running the FBI, its reputation is in Tatters — worst in History! But fear not, we will bring it back to greatness,” the president tweeted on Sunday.
He also cited a story about a top FBI agent who was moved off the Russia probe after Justice Department investigators found he sent text messages that were critical of the president.

the rich asshole lawyer: President 'cannot obstruct justice'
BY REBECCA SAVRANSKY - 12/04/17 07:14 AM EST
President the rich asshole's outside lawyer said in a new interview that a president can't obstruct justice.
The "president cannot obstruct justice because he is the chief law enforcement officer under [the Constitution's Article II] and has every right to express his view of any case," attorney John Dowd told Axios.
His comments come after the rich asshole in a tweet over the weekend appeared to reveal he knew former national security adviser Michael Flynn had lied to the FBI when he was fired.
"It is a shame because his actions during the transition were lawful. There was nothing to hide!"
The tweet spurred controversy, as legal experts suggested if the rich asshole knew Flynn had lied to the FBI and then asked Comey to drop the investigation, it could amount to obstruction of justice.
the rich asshole in February said he fired Flynn because he lied to the vice president, but he did not mention anything related to what the former national security adviser told the FBI.
Dowd said the tweet sent out from the president's Twitter account over the weekend was his "mistake."
He said he had drafted the tweet, according to Axios. But Dowd claimed the tweet did not "admit obstruction."
"That is an ignorant and arrogant assertion," he told Axios.
Flynn last week pleaded guilty to lying to federal investigators about his conversations during the presidential transition with Russia's U.S. ambassador about sanctions related to the Kremlin's interference in the 2016 presidential election.
the rich asshole backs Roy Moore, saying his vote is needed in Senate
BY KYLE BALLUCK AND MALLORY SHELBOURNE - 12/04/17 06:59 AM EST
President the rich asshole early Monday endorsed GOP Senate candidate Roy Moore, saying his vote is needed in the Senate.
The president signaled his support for a Moore in a morning tweet, writing: "Democrats refusal to give even one vote for massive Tax Cuts is why we need Republican Roy Moore to win in Alabama."
"We need his vote on stopping crime, illegal immigration, Border Wall, Military, Pro Life, V.A., Judges 2nd Amendment and more. No to Jones, a Pelosi/Schumer Puppet!," he added, referring to House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.).
Democrats refusal to give even one vote for massive Tax Cuts is why we need Republican Roy Moore to win in Alabama. We need his vote on stopping crime, illegal immigration, Border Wall, Military, Pro Life, V.A., Judges 2nd Amendment and more. No to Jones, a Pelosi/Schumer Puppet!
the rich asshole then called Moore to express his support, according to Moore's campaign and the White House.
"The President had a positive call with Judge Roy Moore during which they discussed the state of the Alabama Senate race and the President endorsed Judge Moore's campaign," said principal deputy press secretary Raj Shah.
Multiple women have recently accused Moore of sexual misconduct. One woman said Moore initiated a sexual encounter with her in 1979, when she was 14. Moore would have been 32 at the time. Another women alleged Moore sexually assaulted her when she was 16.
Moore has repeatedly denied the allegations, saying they are politically motivated. But the Alabama Republican admitted in an interview after the first set of accusations that he may have dated women in their later teens during that period in his life.
"Putting Pelosi/Schumer Liberal Puppet Jones into office in Alabama would hurt our great Republican Agenda of low on taxes, tough on crime, strong on military and borders...& so much more," the rich asshole said in a subsequent tweet Monday morning, adding a reference to Moore's Democratic opponent in the Alabama special election, Doug Jones.
Putting Pelosi/Schumer Liberal Puppet Jones into office in Alabama would hurt our great Republican Agenda of low on taxes, tough on crime, strong on military and borders...& so much more. Look at your 401-k’s since Election. Highest Stock Market EVER! Jobs are roaring back!
Moore in his own tweet thanked the rich asshole for his support.
"The America First agenda will #MAGA," he tweeted. "Can't wait to help him #DrainTheSwamp."
the rich asshole, who endorsed Republican Luther Strange in the Alabama Republican primary, had recently hedged on Moore. The president had declined to offer him an explicit endorsement, but argued Republicans cannot afford to the lose the Senate seat in Alabama.
Moore has resisted calls from prominent Republicans for him to drop out of the race but has remained defiant, despite losing fundraising support from the Republican National Committee and National Republican Senatorial Committee.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said on Sunday that the people of Alabama will decide whether Moore is elected.
"I'm going to let the people of Alabama make the call," McConnell said on ABC’s “This Week.”
McConnell had previously called for Moore to step aside in the race for Alabama Senate.

An old tweet returns to haunt Sarah Huckabee Sanders
Pritha Paul
Posted with permission from International Business Times
Twitterati has a long memory when it comes to controversial tweets. White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders found this out the hard way when one of her old tweets, which spoke ill of those critical of the FBI, was dug up and retweeted by social media users Sunday.
The tweet was written last November — just before the election — in light of speculation that presidential candidate Hillary Clinton was disliked within the FBI.
It also contained the link of a Nov.3, 2016 Political Wire article, where writer Taegan Goddard had pointed out why the FBI was becoming a “Trumpland.”

It also contained the link of a Nov.3, 2016 Political Wire article, where writer Taegan Goddard had pointed out why the FBI was becoming a “Trumpland.”
“Deep antipathy to Hillary Clinton exists within the FBI,” mentioned the article, adding, “Current and former FBI officials, none of whom were willing or cleared to speak on the record, have described a chaotic internal climate that resulted from outrage over director James Comey’s July decision not to recommend an indictment over Clinton’s maintenance of a private email server on which classified information transited.”
Given that her current boss, President Donald Trump, went on a Twitter rant this weekend, terming the FBI's reputation "in tatters," the sweet irony of Sander's tweet was not lost on users of the microblogging site.
People started likening the year-old tweet to the ongoing situation with Trump.

In his Twitter rant over the weekend, the president went after the FBI.
“Tainted (no, very dishonest?) FBI 'agent’s role in Clinton probe under review.' Led Clinton Email probe. @foxandfriends Clinton money going to wife of another FBI agent in charge,” Trump tweeted Sunday.
He followed this up with another tweet, where he wrote: “After years of Comey, with the phony and dishonest Clinton investigation (and more), running the FBI, its reputation is in Tatters - worst in History! But fear not, we will bring it back to greatness.”
However, the tweet that caused all hell to break loose and his political opponents to threaten Trump with obstruction of justice was posted by the president Saturday. In the tweet, Trump admitted he fired former National security Adviser Michael Flynn because he lied to the FBI and Vice President Mike Pence.
Trump, who later fired Comey, denied making such a request.
Meanwhile, people from the other side of the political aisle pointed out that it meant that Trump had asked Comey to drop his investigation on Flynn knowing his then national security adviser had lied to federal officials.
In an unexpected turn of events, Trump’s attorney John Dowd took responsibility for drafting the “sloppy” tweet that was posted by Trump.
“The mistake was I should have put the lying to the FBI in a separate line referencing his plea,” Dowd told Reuters on Sunday, elaborating on the “mistake.” “Instead, I put it together and it made all you guys go crazy. A tweet is a shorthand.”
However, the fact that Dowd had composed the tweet, was regarded with much incredulity by the Democrats.
“If John Dowd actually wrote that tweet he should be fired. That's stunning legal malpractice,” California Rep. Ted Lieu reportedly said. He added that the fact that tweet appeared on the president’s Twitter page alone makes it the POTUS’ property. “So it doesn't even absolve Donald Trump,” he said.

After President some rich asshole officially endorsed Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore (R) on Monday, CNN repeatedly reminded viewers that the GOP hopeful was an “accused child molester.”
In recent weeks, the rich asshole has refused to endorse Moore by name, but in a tweet on Monday, the president declared his full support for the candidate.
CNN’s graphics department didn’t mince words after the endorsement. Throughout the morning, the network repeatedly aired a chyron, which read, “RICH ASSHOLE ENDORSES ACCUSED CHILD MOLESTER ROY MOORE.”
“The president is endorsing accused child molester and Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore,” CNN host John Berman announced at the top of one of the segments.
Co-host Poppy Harlow also reminded the audience that “eight women have come forward” to accuse Moore of sexual misconduct.
“One, of course, accusing him of child molestation when she was 14-years-old,” Harlow noted.

A construction company partially owned by the governments of Saudi Arabia and South Korea plans to build a the rich asshole-branded resort in Indonesia — despite the president’s assurance that his family business would not do business with foreign governments.
MNC Land, a the rich asshole Organization partner, entered into a preliminary agreement with Posco E&C Indonesia on the first phase of development of a luxury resort, reported McClatchy.
The rich asshole partner signed a memorandum of understanding Nov. 11 in Jakarta through its subsidiary PT Lido Nirwana Parahyangan, the news organization reported.
Posco E&C Indonesia is a subsidiary of Posco E&C, which is partly owned by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, which funds infrastructure projects commissioned by the Saudi government.
Posco E&C is itself an affiliate of Posco, which is partly owned by the governments of Saudi Arabia and South Korea.
South Korea’s public pension fund owns 10.88 percent of Posco, according to an independent auditor’s report, and the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority owns 2.38 percent.
The president promised before his inauguration that the rich asshole Organization had agreed not to engage in any new foreign deals or new transactions with a foreign entity, and he placed his holdings in a trust he can draw on for his “exclusive benefit” at any time.
McClatchy previously reported in September that a major construction company owned by the Chinese government was awarded a $32-million contract to build a six-lane road for the rich asshole World Golf Club Dubai project.
Roy Moore’s wife says the rich asshole personally called to give them ‘his full support’

Kayla Moore, the wife of Alabama Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore, claims that President some rich asshole personally called them on Monday to pledge full support for Moore’s campaign.
“Judge Moore just got off the phone with President the rich asshole — we have his full support!” wrote Kayla Moore on Facebook. “Thank you Mr. President! Let’s MAGA!”
the rich asshole on Monday went further than he ever has in explicitly endorsing Moore, as he wrote on Twitter that “we need Republican Roy Moore to win in Alabama” on the grounds that “we need his vote on stopping crime, illegal immigration, Border Wall, Military, Pro Life, V.A., Judges 2nd Amendment and more.”
Previously, the rich asshole had relegated himself to attacking Doug Jones, who is Moore’s Democratic opponent in the Alabama Senate race. No other high-profile Republican has explicitly endorsed Moore the way that the rich asshole has, although Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell on Sunday said he thought that Alabama voters should ultimately decide whether Moore deserved to win this month’s special election.
the rich asshole lawyer argues ‘president cannot obstruct justice’ because he is president
DON'T MISS STORIES. FOLLOW RAW STORY!
President some rich asshole’s layer claims his client cannot be guilty of obstruction of justice because he is the president.
John Dowd, the president’s outside lawyer, insisted he drafted the rich asshole’s tweet over the weekend that seemingly confessed to obstruction but argued the social media posting did no such thing, reported Axios.
“The tweet did not admit obstruction,” Dowd told the website. “That is an ignorant and arrogant assertion.”
The attorney insisted the rich asshole could not possibly be guilty of obstruction because he was the chief executive.
“President cannot obstruct justice because he is the chief law enforcement officer under [the Constitution’s Article II] and has every right to express his view of any case,” Dowd argued.
The articles of impeachment against President Richard Nixon started with obstruction of justice, but journalist Bob Woodward — whose Watergate reporting led to Nixon’s downfall — said impeachment laws remain fairly unsettled.
“I think a president can only be reached through impeachment and removal,” Woodward told Axios. “But the House and Senate could conclude a president had obstructed, and conclude that was a ‘high crime.'”
Bob Bauer, a New York University law professor and former White House counsel to President Barack Obama, disputed Dowd’s claims but argued obstruction was an ancillary charge.
“It is certainly possible for a president to obstruct justice,” Bauer told the website. “The case for immunity has its adherents, but they based their position largely on the consideration that a president subject to prosecution would be unable to perform the duties of the office, a result that they see as constitutionally intolerable.”
some rich asshole suggests Hillary Clinton should be prosecuted for ‘lying to the FBI’

Before boarding Marine One for a trip to Salt Lake City, Utah, where he will meet with leaders of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, President some rich asshole stopped to complain about Hillary Clinton.
the rich asshole argued that retired Gen. Michael Flynn is charged with lying to the FBI, but that Hillary Clinton also lied to the FBI and was never held accountable.
the rich asshole touted the rise in the stock market following the GOP’s tax bill that cuts taxes on those making over $1 million annually. According to him, the only thing that hurts the markets are when networks spread “fake news.” the rich asshole was presumably referencing the guilty plea from Flynn, which resulted in a market drop on Friday.
“I feel badly for General Flynn. I feel very badly,” the rich asshole told reporters. “He’s led a very strong life and I feel very badly, John. I will say this, Hillary Clinton lied many times to the FBI and nothing happened to her. General Flynn lied and they destroyed his life. Hillary Clinton, on the Fourth of July weekend, went to the FBI, not under oath, it was the most incredible thing anyone has ever seen. She lied many times. Nothing happened to her. Flynn lied and it’s like, they ruined his life. It’s very unfair.”
There was no proof of Clinton lying to the FBI and the comments from the rich asshole are only his personal opinion on the matter.

the rich asshole tries to block Mitt Romney from becoming Utah senator
DON'T MISS STORIES. FOLLOW RAW STORY!
President some rich asshole is aiming to block Republican and former presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s run for Utah’s senator by trying to convince seven-term state Sen. Orrin Grant Hatch to seek re-election.
Romney was planning to run for the position held by Hatch, on the assumption the senator would retire, according to a report by Politico. However, the 83-year-old politician’s refusal to leave the office has resulted in Romney’s inner circle blaming the rich asshole by claiming that the president is not comfortable with the idea of the former presidential candidate becoming a senator.
In the report, Romney said it was Hatch himself who recommended him to run for the position but is now unsure of his own decision to retire. The Republicans who discussed the matter with Romney recently said they are convinced the rich asshole wants to keep the former Massachusetts governor out of the race.
The report also stated the rich asshole’s behind-the-scenes plan to influence Hatch to run for re-election will be on display Monday during the president’s trip to Salt Lake City, where he is expected to show his support for the senator.
According to three White House officials, the rich asshole will be making a nine-hour round trip journey on Air Force One with Hatch. They also said both politicians are expected to meet Mormon leaders immediately after reaching Utah, and then will proceed to the state capitol where the rich asshole will reportedly sign the executive order to reduce the size of Utah’s Bears Ears and Grand-Staircase Escalante national monuments.
The report also stated two senior administration officials who said the rich asshole’s favor for Hatch is not only for blocking Romney, but also because Hatch defended the president during a turbulent time when an “Access Hollywood” videotape leaked, which showed the POTUS bragging about sexually assaulting women. Hatch had backed the rich asshole even though members of Utah Republican delegation dialed back their support for the then-presidential candidate.
The report stated in more recent times, Hatch also played a pivotal role in passing the rich asshole’s tax reform bill through the Senate.
According to the rich asshole deputies, the president’s relationship with Hatch began before Romney planned of being Utah’s senator. They said Hatch visited the rich asshole during the first week of his presidency where they spoke about Utah’s national monuments and the then unoccupied seat of the Supreme Court.
‘Tell me one’: MSNBC’s Ruhle easily stumps Republican after he claims tax plan closes dozens of loopholes
DON'T MISS STORIES. FOLLOW RAW STORY!
During a highly contentious interview with a Utah Republican defending the GOP’s proposed tax plan, MSNBC host Stephanie Ruhle stumped the lawmaker by asking him to name one specific loophole businesses will see closed after he claimed there were “dozens.”
Rep. Chris Stewart (R-UT) appeared on MSNBC to attempt to explain that the tax plan, that has been highly been criticized for being weighted toward the rich, was good for the middle class — but spent a great deal of time complaining that his hosts were not helping the GOP get their plan passed.
After a frantic back and forth about the inequities in the proposed tax plan, a frustrated Stewart accused Ruhle and co-host Ali Velshi of opposing anything the GOP is trying to do about taxes.
That was when Ruhle brought up loopholes for businesses.
“In terms of simplifying the tax code, what simplification, what loophole is being closed for corporate America?” Ruhle asked. ” I agree, our tax rate is too high and too complicated, so let’s lower it and close the loopholes. But what loopholes for corporations are going to be closed?”
“Oh, my gosh. there will be dozens,” Stewart replied.
“Like what? ” Ruhle shot back. “Please, sir, tell me one.”
“With interest deductions. with expense accounts. There’s all sorts of deductions,” the GOP lawmaker offered.
“Tell me one,” the MSNBC host persisted.
“I just did!” the lawmaker snapped, to which Ruhle fired back, “You didn’t.”
“Primarily we’re focused on the loopholes for individuals and simplifying for individuals. I’m not arguing —,” Stewart fumbled as Ruhle cut him off.
“What loopholes are closed for corporations?” she attempted again. “If you do, you’ll lower the base and keep the loopholes so they’ll end up paying less, so give me an example of one.”
“That’s our point. For corporations to pay less,” Stewart claimed, once again not answering the question. “That’s the point, that’s how you get economic growth. We’re not trying to achieve higher taxes on corporate taxes.”
“You’re not aswering my question,” the MSNBC host reminded him.
“We want them to pay less,” a stumped Stewart replied. “We’re trying to have the American people pay less. We’re trying to simplify primarily for the American people and we want to simplify taxes.”

Pay very close attention to what the rich asshole’s lawyer is saying. He’s making absolutely no sense.
A sorry excuse.
On Saturday, President the rich asshole tweeted that he fired his national security adviser, Michael Flynn, because he learned that he lied to the FBI.
This was a very problematic admission. According to former FBI Director James Comey, shortly after the firing, the rich asshole asked Comey to end his investigation of Flynn. Comey refused, and the rich asshole later fired Comey. His explanations for the Comey firing vary, but on a national TV interview the rich asshole admitted it was due to Comey’s refusal to drop the investigation into Flynn and others who may have been conspiring with Russia.
The tweet, according to several legal experts, could be considered evidence of obstruction of justice. the rich asshole was not trying to get Comey to drop the Flynn investigation because he thought it was a waste of time. Rather, according to the tweet, the rich asshole knew that Flynn committed a crime (lying to the FBI) and asked for the investigation to be dropped anyway.
Then the rich asshole’s personal attorney, John Dowd, tried to change the narrative.
Dowd contacted numerous members of the media to say that he, John Dowd, was actually the author of the rich asshole’s tweet. Any implication that the rich asshole knew that Flynn lied to the FBI prior to his firing was unintentional and not the rich asshole’s fault, according to Dowd.
The idea that a high-priced attorney would accidentally write an incriminating tweet on behalf of his client strains credulity. But even setting that issue aside, Dowd’s explanation makes no sense.
Dowd’s story is that former Acting Attorney General Sally Yates warned the White House that Flynn had given an incorrect accounting of his conversation with the Russian Ambassador to Vice President Pence. According to Dowd, Yates told the White House that Flynn told the same untrue story to FBI agents.
But, Dowd says, the rich asshole did not know that Flynn lied to FBI agents because “the [Justice] Department didn’t want to make an accusation of lying.” Therefore, at the time of Flynn’s firing, the rich asshole “knew was that the department was not accusing him of lying.”
Here’s the problem: Telling FBI agents something you know is not true is the definition of lying. Dowd’s attempt to make a distinction between telling an untrue story and “lying” makes no sense at all.
Dowd also refuses to say if the rich asshole reviewed the tweet before it was posted. “Enough already. I don’t feed the haters,” Dowd told CNN.
This is all very perplexing in light of the fact that Yates actually testified in May that she refused to discuss Flynn’s interview with the FBI with the White House. So Dowd is contradicting Yates’ testimony. He’s also doing it in a way that undermines his excuse for the rich asshole.
It’s unclear what, exactly, is going on. But one thing that is clear is that Dowd views this tweet as extremely problematic. He is now doing anything he can think of to mitigate the damage. So far it’s not going very well.
The president is working hard to persuade 83-year-old Sen. Orrin Hatch to run for reelection, and Mitt isn't happy about it, people close to him say.
12/03/2017 08:23 PM EST
some rich asshole is going all out to persuade seven-term Utah Sen. Orrin Hatch to seek reelection — a push aimed in no small part at keeping the president’s longtime nemesis, Mitt Romney, out of the Senate.
Romney has been preparing to run for Hatch’s seat on the long-held assumption that the 83-year-old would retire. Yet Hatch, the longest-serving Republican senator in history, is now refusing to rule out another campaign — a circumstance Romney’s infuriated inner circle blames squarely on the president. Their suspicions are warranted: the rich asshole has sounded off to friends about how he doesn't like the idea of a Senator Romney.
The president’s mostly behind-the-scenes campaign to sway Hatch will burst into public view on Monday, when he arrives in Salt Lake City to hold a well-choreographed event designed to showcase his affection for the powerful Senate Finance Committee chairman.
the rich asshole’s appearance is ostensibly official in purpose: He will announce his decision to reduce the size of Utah’s Bears Ears and Grand-Staircase Escalante national monuments, a cause that Hatch has championed. But it's also undeniably political: To use the trappings of presidential power to get a veteran lawmaker to rethink his long anticipated plans to leave the Senate.
the rich asshole is slated to ride with Hatch both ways on Air Force One — a total of roughly nine hours round-trip. After descending from the plane together, the two will meet with Mormon leaders and then head to the state capitol for the signing of the executive order, according to three White House officials. Hatch will introduce the rich asshole, who in turn is expected to lavish praise on the senator. After the order is signed, Hatch is expected to receive the president’s pen.
The public display of affection isn’t just about blocking Romney, senior administration officials say. the rich asshole has felt loyal to Hatch since the senator defended him in the wake of the “Access Hollywood” tape episode late in the 2016 campaign. Hatch stuck by the rich asshole even as other members of Utah’s Republican delegation withdrew their support.
More recently, Hatch has played a key role in moving the rich asshole's prized tax reform bill through the Senate.
the rich asshole aides say the president's bond with Hatch began long before Romney emerged as a potential successor. Hatch visited the rich asshole in the Oval Office during the first week of his presidency for a lengthy discussion about the then-vacant Supreme Court seat and Utah’s national monuments.
Yet people close to Romney are convinced that the rich asshole’s main motivation is to keep the 2012 GOP presidential nominee out of the Senate. Romney himself has expressed frustration with the ongoing uncertainty about Hatch’s plans, said three Republicans who’ve spoken with him recently. The former Massachusetts governor has pointed out that it was Hatch who urged him to consider running in the first place, but now appears to be wavering on whether to step aside.
"Hatch is a known entity for the rich asshole and has been really good for the president for the most part," said Kirk Jowers, a friend of Romney who formerly served as the chairman and general counsel of his political action committee. "He knows for a fact he's not going to get that with Romney. I don't know that he knows what he's going to get with Romney, but it's not going to be what he's got with Hatch."
Indeed, there’s widespread concern within the White House that Romney in the Senate could make the rich asshole’s life difficult. During the 2016 campaign, the former Massachusetts governor emerged as the de-facto leader of the GOP establishment’s “Never the rich asshole” campaign, delivering a nationally-watched speech in which he blasted candidate the rich asshole as a “phony, a fraud” and implored the party to stop him.
Hatch, by contrast, went all-in for the rich asshole in Utah, where the rich asshole received just 46 percent of the vote but still carried the state because of a third-party candidate. Before the election, the senator also campaigned for the rich asshole in four states, hitting the trail with the candidate’s son, some rich asshole Jr. While many Republicans air their issues with the rich asshole publicly, Hatch has usually chosen to telegraph his concerns in private discussions with the president.
“I’ll just put it this way. Sen. Hatch was one of the leading voices for the president during the entire campaign,” said Don Peay, the rich asshole family friend who led his Utah campaign. “Hatch clearly was a strong supporter of the rich asshole from the beginning,” said Peay, who helped to organize Monday’s event.
the rich asshole’s push to get Hatch to run for an eighth term has taken place in furtive phone calls and West Wing visits. In early October, the senator called the president to invite him to Utah to announce his monument plan, said one person briefed on the discussion.
Near the end of the call, the president conveyed a request. “Orrin,” he said, “I really hope you will consider running again.”
Hatch told the rich asshole he hadn't made up his mind.
Their mutual endearment has at times been public. When Hatch was asked last week by reporters about the rich asshole’s decision to retweet several anti-Muslim videos, the senator said he wasn’t “aware” of the firestorm — and then praised the rich asshole.
“I’ll say this for ya.’ He’s been one of the best presidents I’ve served under, and the reason is he’s not afraid to make decisions. He’s not afraid to take on the big boss around here,” Hatch said.
the rich asshole responded by tweeting out a video of the remark. “Thank you @SenOrrinHatch,” he added. “Let’s continue MAKING AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
Romney’s post-election relationship with the rich asshole has been far more ... complicated.
During the transition, the rich asshole considered appointing Romney as secretary of state. the rich asshole was expecting not to like Romney but was surprised by how well they gelled during the interview process, something he told aides repeatedly at the time. the rich asshole ultimately decided against Romney.
As the year wore on, the former governor praised the new president for some of his personnel choices. But he also made his differences known.
During an appearance in Park City, Utah, in June, Romney told a group of prominent Republican donors that the rich asshole’s White House was too consumed by palace intrigue. He also offered an implicit critique of the president’s “America First” approach to foreign policy, growing emotional as he outlined the country’s humanitarian responsibilities overseas.
Then, in August, Romney struck again — this time to implore the president to apologize for equating white supremacists who sowed violence in Charlottesville, Va. with their counter-protesters.
“Mr. President,” Romney wrote in a Facebook message, “act now for the good of the country.”
Romney has been making the rounds in Utah amid speculation that Hatch is nearing retirement, huddling with an array of Republican figures including state House Speaker Greg Hughes. Romney has told people that while he wouldn’t be reflexively anti-the rich asshole as a senator, he would be more than willing to let his criticisms be known.
Some the rich asshole allies contend that Utah would be better served by having a presidential loyalist in the seat.
"I think he could be a great ally of the president but, as you well know, they're very different people and have very different personalities," said Hughes, who recently met with Romney in his office in the state capitol. "Sen. Hatch,” he added, “understands the president very well."
Asked who the president would rather have in the seat, Hughes, who was once mentioned as a candidate for a position in the rich asshole administration, said he had little doubt: "I think the president enjoys having a strong ally."
Romney, for his part, won’t be at Monday event. He was invited but, several people close to him said, will be out of town.
Over the weekend, Romney wrote a tweet that underscored his respect for Hatch but also, perhaps, hinted at a belief that the senator had now accomplished what he needed to before moving on.
“A very big week for Utah’s own Senator @OrrinHatch,” he wrote, “with tax reform, Bears Ears reversion, and a presidential visit.”
FBI Agents Destroy some rich asshole After He Attacks The Agency And James Comey
some rich asshole went on quite a tweetstorm this morning, lashing out former Director of the FBI James Comey and the agency. the rich asshole is losing his sh*t after his former national security adviser flipped in the investigation into any possible collusion between his campaign and Russia. On his former FBI Director, the rich asshole called him a liar, writing, “I never asked Comey to stop investigating Flynn. Just more Fake News covering another Comey lie!” Then he claimed his FBI is the “worst in History!” and said it was in “tatters.”
“After years of Comey, with the phony and dishonest Clinton investigation (and more), running the FBI, its reputation is in Tatters – worst in History!” he wrote. “But fear not, we will bring it back to greatness.”
That tweet prompted a statement from the President of the FBI Agents Association in a series of tweets.
“Every day, FBI Special Agents put their lives on the line to protect the American public from national security and criminal threats,” FBIAA President Thomas O’Connor wrote. “Agents perform these duties with unwavering integrity and professionalism and a focus on complying with the law and the Constitution.”
”This is why the FBI continues to be the premier law enforcement agency in the world,” he continued. “FBI Agents are dedicated to their mission; suggesting otherwise is simply false.”
James Comey also weighed in.
Former President Barack Obama’s Attorney General Eric Holder also took a shot at the rich asshole’s tweets.
“Nope. Not letting this go. The FBI’s reputation is not in ‘tatters,’” Holder tweeted. “It’s composed of the same dedicated men and women who have always worked there and who do a great, apolitical job.”
“You’ll find integrity and honesty at FBI headquarters and not at 1600 Penn Ave right now.”
What the FBI agents are saying is that some rich asshole is fake news.
‘Ghost Of Witness Flipped’: Hilarious SNL Skit Takes the rich asshole Into His Own Private Holiday Hell (VIDEO)
By now, everyone knows that disgraced National Security Adviser Michael Flynn has flipped on some rich asshole. Of course, the good folks at Saturday Night Live, who have been mocking the rich asshole relentlessly, couldn’t resist using this to needle the notoriously thin -skinned, sorry excuse for a “president.” It also helps that we are in the midst of the holiday season, which enabled SSL to use a seasonal classic, A Christmas Carol, to poke fun at the rich asshole.
Alec Baldwin took up the mantle to play the rich asshole again, who is visited by a fictional Michael Flynn (Mikey Day) in chains, and seems positively terrified of the Ghost of Michael Flynn, who appears to tell the rich asshole, “it’s time to come clean for the good of the country.” After that, the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future line up to torture the rich asshole in the Oval Office.
The Ghost of Christmas Past is fired NBC host Billy Bush (Alex Moffat), of the rich asshole’s infamous “grab em by the pussy” tape. Then it was time for a shirtless Vladimir Putin (Beck Bennet) to arrive, to remind the rich asshole of the fact that he wouldn’t be president without help from the Russian government, and that he’s about to have all of their efforts be for naught. The Ghost of Christmas Future is the best of all, with a positively wickedly delicious version of Hillary Clinton, played by Kate McKinnon, who gleefully says to the rich asshole:
“You Donald, have given me the greatest Christmas gift of all! You have no idea how long I’ve wanted to say this, ‘lock him up!’
Lock him up indeed. This entire criminal administration belongs in jail. It will go from Flynn, to Pence, to the rich asshole Jr., and then to the rich asshole himself – and then Hillary will really have the last laugh.
Comey back in the spotlight after Flynn makes a deal
BY MALLORY SHELBOURNE - 12/03/17 02:01 PM EST
Former FBI Director James Comey is back in the spotlight of the Russia investigation now that former national security adviser Michael Flynn has pleaded guilty to lying to the bureau.
Lawmakers in Sunday television interviews across the networks were re-evaluating Comey's June Senate testimony accusing President the rich asshole of asking him to drop the investigation into Flynn, with several guests indicating Comey might be able to answer additional questions.
Flynn, one of the rich asshole’s former top aides and someone Comey investigated closely during his time leading the Russia investigation, is now cooperating with Robert Mueller’s special counsel probe.
Also on Sunday, the rich asshole took to singling out his former FBI director in an early morning tweet. the rich asshole said the bureau’s reputation has been damaged because of Comey.
"After years of Comey, with the phony and dishonest Clinton investigation (and more), running the FBI, its reputation is in Tatters - worst in History!” the rich asshole wrote.
"I'd be careful if I were you, Mr. President. I'd watch this," Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) warned about the rich asshole targeting Comey during an interview on CBS News’s “Face the Nation."
Graham said he did not agree with the rich asshole’s description of the bureau, but said Comey will have to answer for decisions he made during his time helming the FBI.
the rich asshole fired Comey in May, in a decision that triggered the appointment of Mueller to take over the federal investigation into Russia's election meddling and its possible collusion with the rich asshole campaign.
“I think he made some decisions that were really very, very wrong,” Graham told host John Dickerson regarding Comey. "There's an ongoing criminal investigation; Comey may be part of it. You tweet and comment regarding ongoing criminal investigations at your own peril. I'd be careful if I were you, Mr. President. I'd watch this."
Some observers expect Comey to face more questions about his time leading the FBI investigation.
"I think given the plea deal with Gen. Flynn, I think Comey will play another role in this," former Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Mich.), the former chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, said on CNN’s “State of the Union.”
"Though I'm sure they'll bring him back, about that process of what he knew leading into the election," he continued.
Comey testified previously that the rich asshole had asked him to let go of his probe into Flynn while the former FBI chief was leading the Russia investigation, which included looking into Flynn's contact with Moscow officials.
“I hope you can see your way clear to letting this go, to letting Flynn go. He is a good guy. I hope you can let this go," the rich asshole allegedly said in a private meeting, according to Comey.
Flynn pleaded guilty on Friday to lying to the FBI about his past conversations with the Russian ambassador. His plea marks the first former the rich asshole administration official to be charged by the special counsel’s Russia probe.
Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.), who is co-leading the Senate Intelligence Committee’s own Russia investigation, told CNN Comey's testimony before the committee was clearly "very credible."
"I think there's more to come" on Flynn and the Russia probe, he added.
Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), the current ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee, also on Sunday said the combination of what Flynn and Comey know could "get very close to a case of obstruction of justice.”
“Well, what that would tell me is that one of the reasons that he was intervening, the president that is, with James Comey was that he knew that this would come to light and that he wanted to protect Mike Flynn lying on his behalf,” Schiff told ABC News’s “This Week” when asked what it would mean if Flynn testifies that the rich asshole instructed his contact with the Russians.
The timeline of what the rich asshole knew and when is key in a case against the president. Flynn has so far only indicated the rich asshole directed him to communicate with Russian officials after he had already won the election.
Warner also hinted at the possibility that the rich asshole may have obstructed justice after host Jake Tapper noted that the president suggested he knew Flynn lied to the FBI when he fired him in February.
Tapper was referring to a tweet from the rich asshole on Saturday.
"I had to fire General Flynn because he lied to the Vice President and the FBI. He has pled guilty to those lies," the rich asshole tweeted.
It was an apparent shift from the reasons the rich asshole stated at the time of Flynn's ouster, which was that he fired Flynn for lying to Vice President Pence. the rich asshole’s personal lawyer said he actually wrote the tweet, and did not intend to “break news" by implying the president knew more about Flynn than he previously indicated.
Comey has largely kept a low profile since he left public service, however, he has frequently tweeted quotes apparently related to news events.
He sent such a tweet on Friday, following the news about Flynn.
“To paraphrase the Buddha — Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun; the moon; and the truth,” he tweeted.
the rich asshole: ‘I never asked Comey to stop investigating Flynn’
BY KYLE BALLUCK - 12/03/17 06:55 AM EST
President the rich asshole in an early morning tweet on Sunday said he never asked former FBI Director James Comey to stop investigating former national security adviser Michael Flynn, saying "fake news" outlets are "covering another Comey lie."
“I never asked Comey to stop investigating Flynn,” the president said.
“Just more Fake News covering another Comey lie!”
Comey, who was fired by the rich asshole in May, testified before Congress in June that the rich asshole pressured him during an Oval Office meeting in February to end the investigation into Flynn. the rich asshole's lawyers have disputed that account.
Flynn on Friday pleaded guilty to lying to federal investigators about his conversations during the presidential transition with the Russian ambassador to the U.S. about sanctions related to the Kremlin’s election interference. He became the first person to have held a position in the rich asshole administration to be charged by the special counsel.
the rich asshole in an apparent shift on Saturday tweeted that he had to fire Flynn as national security adviser because the retired Army general lied to Vice President Pence and the FBI.
"I had to fire General Flynn because he lied to the Vice President and the FBI. He has pled guilty to those lies," he said in the tweet, which was sent while he was traveling in New York City for fundraising events.
"It is a shame because his actions during the transition were lawful," he added. "There was nothing to hide!"
Two sources familiar with that tweet, however, told The Washington Post on Saturday that John Dowd, the rich asshole's personal lawyer, had crafted that tweet.
After Flynn was fired, the rich asshole said in February that “I fired him because of what he said to Mike Pence. Very simple.”
Some legal experts have speculated that if the rich asshole knew that Flynn had lied to the FBI and then asked Comey to drop the investigation, it could amount to obstruction of justice.
"This is a pretty substantial confession to essential knowledge elements of an obstruction of justice charge," Susan Hennessey, a national security fellow at the Brookings Institution, tweeted on Saturday.
the rich asshole told NBC News in May that he was thinking of "this Russia thing" when he decided to fire Comey, who had been leading the FBI probe into Russia's election meddling.
“When I decided to just do it, I said to myself, I said 'you know, this Russia thing with the rich asshole and Russia is a made-up story, it's an excuse by the Democrats for having lost an election that they should have won.’ "
The White House days earlier had attributed Comey's firing to his handling of the investigation into Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton's email server.
Comey himself offered a cryptic message on Saturday shortly after the rich asshole's tweet about Flynn's firing.
“Beautiful Long Island Sound from Westport, CT,” Comey wrote in the caption of an Instagram post. “To paraphrase the Buddha — Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun; the moon; and the truth.”

the rich asshole lawyer: Flynn tweet ‘my mistake’
BY BRETT SAMUELS - 12/03/17 12:52 PM EST
President the rich asshole’s personal lawyer said on Sunday that it was “my mistake” that the president sent out a tweet about firing former national security adviser Michael Flynn, prompting speculation that it showed evidence of obstruction of justice.
“I’m out of the tweeting business. I did not mean to break news,” attorney John Dowd told Axios.
Flynn pleaded guilty on Friday to lying to federal investigators about his conversations during the presidential transition with the Russian ambassador to the U.S. about sanctions related to the Kremlin’s election interference.
"I had to fire General Flynn because he lied to the Vice President and the FBI. He has pled guilty to those lies," the rich asshole tweeted on Saturday.
"It is a shame because his actions during the transition were lawful. There was nothing to hide!" he added.
The tweet caused shockwaves, as legal experts suggested that if the rich asshole knew that Flynn had lied to the FBI and then asked James Comey to drop the investigation, as the former FBI director has testified to Congress, it could amount to obstruction of justice.
The Washington Post reported Saturday that Dowd had drafted the tweet for the rich asshole.
Dowd told Axios on Sunday that the point of the tweet “was entirely correct.”
"It's just very sad. I don't know why the guy lied. He didn't need to," he added.
the rich asshole in February said he fired Flynn because he lied to the vice president — but did not mention anything related to what the national security adviser told the FBI.
FBI agents fire back at the rich asshole: Saying we're not dedicated is 'simply false'
BY JACQUELINE THOMSEN - 12/03/17 06:19 PM EST
The head of FBI Agents Association (FBIAA) fired back at President the rich asshole’s comments against the bureau on Sunday, saying any suggestion that agents aren’t dedicated to their jobs “is simply false.”
“Every day, FBI Special Agents put their lives on the line to protect the American public from national security and criminal threats. Agents perform these duties with unwavering integrity and professionalism and a focus on complying with the law and the Constitution,” FBIAA head Thomas O’Connor said in a statement.
”This is why the FBI continues to be the premier law enforcement agency in the world. FBI Agents are dedicated to their mission; suggesting otherwise is simply false.”
the rich asshole tweeted earlier Sunday that the FBI’s reputation was in “tatters” after being lead by former FBI Director James Comey, whom the rich asshole fired in May.
“After years of Comey, with the phony and dishonest Clinton investigation (and more), running the FBI, its reputation is in Tatters - worst in History! But fear not, we will bring it back to greatness,” the rich asshole tweeted.

Comey also shot back at the rich asshole's tweet on Sunday.
Obama Attorney General Eric Holder also hit back at the rich asshole’s comments earlier Sunday.
“Nope. Not letting this go. The FBI’s reputation is not in ‘tatters,’” Holder tweeted. “It’s composed of the same dedicated men and women who have always worked there and who do a great, apolitical job.”
“You’ll find integrity and honesty at FBI headquarters and not at 1600 Penn Ave right now.”
the rich asshole made the comments after a report that special counsel Robert Mueller removed an FBI agent from his team for potentially making anti-the rich asshole remarks.
Mueller was appointed as special counsel after the rich asshole fired Comey.

the rich asshole made communications aide Hope Hicks steam his pants while he wore them: tell-all book
Lauren Gill
Posted with permission from Newsweek
President Donald Trump reportedly made Hope Hicks, now his communications director, steam his pants while he was still wearing them and scolded her when she forgot the wrinkle-erasing device.
Hicks, who worked as his press secretary at the time, was in charge of making sure Trump’s pants and jacket were sharp when they flew on his private plane, according to excerpts in a Washington Post review of the new tell-all book by former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski titled Let Trump Be Trump. According to Lewandowski, Trump would shout out for Hicks to grab the steamer, which he apparently called “the machine” and she would then get to work while his clothes were still on him.
"'Get the machine!'” Trump would shout, according to the book. "And Hope would take out the steamer and start steaming Mr. Trump’s suit, while he was wearing it! She’d steam the jacket first and then sit in a chair in front of him and steam his pants."
Hicks, a former model who reportedly loves Trump “like a father” once faced the then-candidate’s wrath when she left behind the key to his perfectly pressed clothes.
"God damnit, Hope!" Trump yelled. "How the hell could you forget the machine?"
"It was a mistake she would never make again,” reads the passage.
Along with her aptitude for steaming, Hicks is also “smart and private, with a nearly photographic memory,” according to Lewandowski.
Hicks has been with Trump since the launch of his bid for the White House in 2015. But when asked to work on his campaign, she mistakenly thought the president had given her an offer to work on public relations for his golf club, Lewandowski revealed.
While many of Trump’s top aides have bitten the dust, Hicks reportedly remains one of the president’s most trusted confidantes. Her unique relationship with Trump as part of his inner circle makes her of interest to investigators probing whether the campaign colluded with Russia during the 2016 election, an allegation she has previously denied.

the rich asshole’s ‘full-out meltdowns’ on Twitter could be ‘the undoing of his presidency’: MSNBC panel
DON'T MISS STORIES. FOLLOW RAW STORY!
An MSNBC panel on Saturday discussed President some rich asshole’s compulsive relationship with Twitter and his habit of undermining his own and his subordinates’ positions with ill-advised bursts of unvetted online statements.
Former U.S. Attorney Joyce Vance said that while it’s highly unlikely that special counsel Robert Mueller will try to indict a sitting president, the rich asshole will likely pay for his loose lips in “the court of public opinion.”
Former campaign aide to President Barack Obama Lis Smith said that the rich asshole is “clearly trying to say, ‘Hey, nothing to see here,’ but having a full-out meltdown on Twitter is not helping his case.”
She continued, “Generally, if you’re doing all-caps and exclamation points, it’s the opposite of inspiring confidence. And what’s sort of ironic about all of this is that the rich asshole always likes to say that Twitter helped make him become president, but Twitter could actually now be the undoing of his presidency.”
On Saturday, a first-person tweet appeared in the president’s Twitter feed that potentially amounted to an admission that he knew Mike Flynn lied to the FBI about his contacts with Russians during the presidential transition.
When it became clear that the tweet could do significant damage to the rich asshole, the White House blamed it on attorney John Dowd. Public reception to that explanation has been skeptical.

Former Bush ethics chief: John Dowd should be disbarred if he did write ‘incriminating’ Flynn tweet

The controversy continues to rage over whether or not President some rich asshole wrote a damning tweet on Saturday in which someone claiming to be the president said he had to fire Mike Flynn because he lied to the FBI, but that everything Flynn did during the transition was “lawful.”
When legal experts and administration critics alike reacted in horror and incredulity that the president would so clearly admit to obstruction of justice, the White House announced that the rich asshole hadn’t written the tweet, but instead it was posted by the rich asshole’s personal attorney John Dowd. This explanation has been met with considerable skepticism.
Richard Painter — a frequent and vocal critic of the rich asshole administration — said that if Dowd did in fact write a tweet implicating his client, then he should lose his license to practice law.
“A lawyer who writes a Tweet like that incriminating a client should be disbarred. He can tell Mueller he wrote it,” Painter tweeted, according to The Hill.

‘It’s depressing, you know?’: the rich asshole supporters dismayed by tax plan that caters to the rich and leaves them behind
DON'T MISS STORIES. FOLLOW RAW STORY!
Speaking with voters in the Midwest who played a major hand in electing President some rich asshole, the Washington Post found supporters of the president who feel betrayed by a tax plan that includes massive tax cuts for the rich and pennies — at best — for them.
According to one Republican voter, who admits he actually cast a write-in vote for Sen Ted Cruz (R-TX) in the 2016 election, he sees the rich profiting while any gains he may receive will be wiped out by deductions that Republicans are stripping out of the tax code.
“Why are you going to lower their taxes?” auto industry employee Ron Stephens, 49, explained. “The level of lifestyle that they have versus everyone else — why do they need that? It’s not that big of an impact for them, but for someone making $30,000 a year? That would have a huge impact on them.”
Patrick Colley, a Teamster from Michigan stated that, in the rich asshole he thought he had a president who understood the average worker. Colley admitted that he still hopes to see some benefit from the tax package that still needs to be hammered into its final form by the Republican-controlled Congress. But he said reporting on the plan shows “too much gray about the wealthy” and how they will ultimately benefit.
Colley doubted corporations would invest their tax savings from the GOP Congressional windfall in their businesses by hiring more workers, saying they “are not in a caring mode.”
As for the rich who will see their tax burden go down and don’t have to worry about health care bills, Colley expressed frustration with the bill that will likely be signed by the rich asshole.
“It’s depressing, you know? It’s depressing. I pay like 30 percent [in taxes], and I’m a regular guy. It’s not fair. And a millionaire pays like 12 percent,” he said. “It’s not fair. It’s not fair at all.

White House turns to above-the-law political defense
the rich asshole's lawyer says he was behind President's tweet about firing Flynn
Washington (CNN)President some rich asshole's personal lawyer, John Dowd, told CNN on Sunday that he wrote a tweet for the @realDonaldTrump Twitter account about the firing of former White House national security adviser Michael Flynn.
"I had to fire General Flynn because he lied to the Vice President and the FBI," the Saturday tweet reads. "He has pled guilty to those lies. It is a shame because his actions during the transition were lawful. There was nothing to hide!"
Dowd said he drafted the tweet and believes White House social media director Dan Scavino posted it online. He declined to answer additional questions about whether the rich asshole reviewed the tweet before it was posted.
"Enough already," he said in an email. "I don't feed the haters."
The Washington Post reported Saturday that Dowd drafted the tweet, citing two people familiar with the Twitter message. NBC News' Chuck Todd also reported Sunday on "Meet the Press" that Dowd confirmed he authored the message.
Flynn pleaded guilty Friday to lying to the FBI about conversations he had with Russia's ambassador to the US during the transition and disclosed that he is cooperating with the special counsel Robert Mueller's office.
Dowd previously said the tweet paraphrased White House special counsel Ty Cobb's Friday statement on Flynn's guilty plea.
"The tweet was a paraphrase of Ty Cobb's statement yesterday," Dowd told CNN. "I refer you to (former FBI Director James) Comey's testimony before Congress about FBI view of Flynn's answers."
However, Cobb's statement on Friday does not say anything about Flynn's lies to the FBI being a factor in his firing.
Pressed about whether the tweet signaled the rich asshole knew Flynn had lied to the FBI before firing him, Dowd rejected the assessment.
"At the time of the firing no one including Justice had accused Flynn of lying," Dowd told CNN. "Yates had reported he told the (agents) the same things he told VP. He was not accused of lying until last week."
In May, former acting Attorney General Sally Yates told a congressional panel that she had a meeting with White House counsel Donald McGahn on January 26 to tell him that she had information that statements by Vice President Mike Pence, based on his conversations with Flynn, were false. She was joined in the meeting by a senior career official in the Justice Department.
"We weren't the only ones that knew all of this, that the Russians also knew about what General Flynn had done and the Russians also knew that General Flynn had misled the vice president and others," Yates said, relating the contents of her conversation with McGahn.
Saturday's @realDonaldTrump tweet raised immediate questions on whether the rich asshole knew Flynn had lied to the FBI when he fired him in February.
"...just couldn't resist commenting on Flynn," Walter Shaub, the former director of the United States Office of Government Ethics, tweeted. "Are you ADMITTING you knew Flynn had lied to the FBI when you asked Comey to back off Flynn?"
California Rep. Adam Schiff, the ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, tweeted, "If that is true, Mr. President, why did you wait so long to fire Flynn? Why did you fail to act until his lies were publicly exposed? And why did you pressure Director Comey to "let this go?"
Comey said in testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee in June that the rich asshole pressed him to end the investigation into Flynn. the rich asshole continues to deny this, and on Sunday morning sent a tweet calling it a "Comey lie."
